Got my dividends,  this is wonderful,  I got a fraction of every token listed in coss  Cheesy. I really hope that volume will go up with time

Me too!! quite amazing! 5 times the value I was expecting!
Tell me, what should I do to receive dividends? Do I need to store my tokens on the coss.io?

Yes, that's what I did, but there's a way to link an external wallet as well.

Good to know tokens have been shared, Can't seem to access the platform, looks like too much traffic, Team should look at this please except its a DDOS the website shouldn't really be impacted by a high traffic, that's what we expect for the exchange to be successful i.e. a lot of users.

How much % dividend received and time frame for payout?

At this low stage at moment you got under 1%, but daily volume was just 1mil.
Just imagine if Volume gets high for example up to 100mil or 250mil.

The payout is weekly,  you are getting 50% of the exchange provision. Thats the most fair rating I ever saw before.

I have this as well. I'm just going to wait until the website is running smoothly, seems to be heavy load currently.

I dont know who exchange like COSS will survive when Decentralized exchange will take a hit in Q4 2017
Even exchange like bittrex and polo will struggle for their position

I've checked yesterday and I did not receive my dividend yet. Is it on the ETH wallet or the COSS wallet?
Also, can someone eloborate how much the dividend was in percentage?

Thanks boi's.

There was an article posted this morning that explains why there may have been an "unusually high" dividend payout

https://medium.com/@coinsoncoins/the-bull-case-for-coss-why-it-is-not-unreasonable-for-coss-to-go-up-39x-63d0f5fbbdea

"COSS first weekly dividend was distributed on 10/10/17, and it came out to a 10% annualized dividend, much higher than expected."

Originally, the author stated that it may have been due to some token holders not claiming their stakes correctly, therefore more coins were distributed to less holders.

This was the original article quote

"COSS first weekly dividend was distributed on 10/10/17, and it came out to a 10% annualized dividend. Likely the reason it was so high was that many did not correctly stake their tokens for the dividend distribution."

Seems like they paid "too much" to people who were properly holding their COSS for the snapshot  Roll Eyes Kinda expected to see this go with a bunch of hiccups. Just hope they don't slash the payment 90% now.

I hope anyone could answer this question. When I see my snapshot of what I am going to receive, is it per coss coin i hold or total amount?

I'm really not sure, I haven't seen anyone break down a formulae or anything. I have 30k COSS in my wallet on coss and I got credited ~33 COSS from the payout (not yet put IN my wallet, but on the dashboard). Assuming this is linear due to the nature of fee sharing, we can assume that you'll be getting ~.1% a week if current volume on coss.io continue, and assuming the OTHER coins credited to you stay at the value once credited. In other words, the interest from COSS is .1%+ weekly compounding. Pretty damn good especially since you get paid in altcoins as well.
