Which chain to move my coins (the right chain, as you meant), and detailed guide to move my coins to that chain, please. One more very important information is the period of the swap. How long will the swap from old chain to new chain last? Without explorer, it's hard to confirm that after the swap, my coins will appear on the desired right chain, so the explorer is very important now, beside guide to swap MTNC coins.

this doesnt work with the reborn wallet.

if you have a wallet.dat file up to version 4.1.0.0 and older you can just copy your wallet.dat into the "data" folder.

once you followed my guide there will be a new & empty wallet.dat created (in the "data" folder) that can be overwritten with your actual wallet.dat

the wallet.dat can usually be found at c:\user documents\user\appdata\mtnc , were also the blockchain is stored.

but with the cmd file you put it all in the data folder were the exe is. hope that makes its clear.

Thanks for this explanation I will try to do this but from what I see I don't understand anything at all how to do this.

Of course, I will do my best multiple times if needed but such a step by step guide would be great.

Old chain works fine and my wallets are now synched and staking again. Any news on how the transition to the new chain will happen? And when? By the way, what will be different in the tech of the new chain?

I did all the steps and my new wallet is almost empty with 600 MTNC and in my old one was 92000 MTNC. 70000MTNC was sent from your wallet Ideaupdater and I have screens for everything.

What is funny when I use different wallet.dat files which I saved during the time I got different MTNC final count in the wallet.

Sometimes is 2000, 1000 and now is 600MTNC. I tried only 3 times and the last time is with the last wallet.dat file from my wallet which is actually still on my other computer frozen at 72000 blocks.

If somebody has any explanation or can help will be great. maybe I did something wrong because there are no transactions later as from 2018.11 in this new wallet and this 70000 was in 2018.09 so should be there anyway. Later I staked another 20K with these coins for 3 months or longer.

Thank you very much. Repeirwallet did the job quite well. There are still almost 11K MTNC coins missing but we are going the direction  .



Still waiting for staking. I will update after some time if there are no problems with it. I had troubles all the times with staking this coin let's see if something changed.

To be honest I haven't used any guide in the end. Just downloaded this new chain file and extracted it in the download folder. After that manually changed files in the Masternodecoin program. Deleted old once and added new once plus my old wallet.dat folder.

After that, I started the wallet and he started to sync with 13 days to go. After synchronization, there was a lot of MTNC missing. I know why because I haven't extracted his chain file correctly or not added all parts of the file. Anyways after that, I checked this thread and somebody suggested to use "repairwallet" command in the console. I did it and after some time (15 minutes) I had my old balance back in the wallet.

I assume that "repairwallet" corrected the chain file. tried to find more info about this command but was not able to as for now.


Anybody staking already?
