A few weeks ago I've sent coins to cryptopia and they have never arrived. Today I have sent several times little quantities of coins to Cryptopia, still wil my old wallet. Most of the time the coins have arrived at destination, in a few cases they didn't. Does it mean with the old wallet they go OCCASIONALLY on the wrong chain?

I am now trying to update but I cannot open the RAR file with the new wallet. I have tried on TWO different computers and in both I am getting the message "the archive is either unknown format or damaged".

Open it using 7zip. I had the same problem and it was my old WinRAR version fault.

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of 7zip and I am still getting the same error message while trying to open that RAR file. What's going on?

Sometimes I experience this on my Windows 10 laptop even when the rar file is not corrupt. I move the rar file to a Windows 7 laptop and it extracted successfully there.

This is common trend of the whole crypto market, not only MTNC coin. Most of altcoins (I don't want to say all altcoins, but nearly all altcoins) witnessed dramatic falls during the last few weeks. Don't worry too much about current loses, lost will be only paper lost if you hold your coins and don't sell them at low price.

No, I have not sold my coins, to pèsar that today someone sold 60000 coins in the exchange with a price of 0.043 if I remember correctly.

My wallet has synced without issue and i haven't updated to any new wallet. My wallet version number is v2.1.0.0-61402, maybe you need to try repair wallet command on yours?

If nothing helps, just delete blockchain file, download the latest updated one (link is on the OP) and try syncing then.

No, this is a coin with its own blockchain. To be more precise, its a PoS/Masternode hybrid coin without any energy consuming PoW. 50,000 MTNC are needed to setup a masternode, staking is possible with every amount.

it started to mine the oldblock  chain i think .I went from staking  the 01/04/2018  to coins form 24/02/2018 then it stoppe d.I will tyr to update nodes

Important update (update is mandatory)

1: very very important backup the wallet.dat and backups file(the file in /Roaming/masternodecoin/** )
  if you do not backup the wallet.dat and backups file ,you will loss all MTNC
2: delete the whole blockchain data and peer.dat and others file  and MTNC client file
3:down load the new client MTNC V2.1.0.0 version as below link (windows)  ,linux and mac version you should complie yourself
    if you dont want to wait for sync ,you can download blockchain data as below (2018 03 21)
4: open the new client MTNC V2.1.0.0 then close the client
5: put your wallet.dat to the file (the file in /Roaming/masternodecoin/** )
6: then open the client again
7: set up masternode follow the guide (the link https://docs.google.com/document/d/11WnHDlVmNCTZDnrn8yQYXE21PRBn8h6A5bQiaVpn6Ts/edit?usp=sharing)
