You do realize that 4408194 x 0.00001450 is only 63 BTC worth and a most were traded at less than 0.00001450 which is kind of pathetic.  Most of the alts on BTC-e do at least hundreds of BTC worth a day.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

LaudaM
I sent you another 10 GLD
I saw the poll, and thought it would be interesting to offer some GLD to people who vote.
(it is a learning experience to get involved like I am doing, and I encourage others who have invested in GLD at these levels, to support GLD by giving back a little bit.)

Currently we are poised to take a Bronze medal, but it is early days for GLD, and I am hoping we make a good showing and earn a little bit of respect for GLD. Smiley
Go for GOLD, but happy to get silver or bronze.
I thought it is good pr to do this. Kind of fun to watch how the poll is going. Smiley
GLD on cryptsy is really good news

Thank you sir, i appreciate it.

We have to start somewhere, the coin is fairly new and we (well me, but I think others agree) are satisfied with the current way which this has been going.

This is actually an alt. coin with huge potential.

agree but to survive in these early stages don't list it on multiple exchanges.

Hey GLD people  Grin

If you have the time, you can vote at the link below, to have GLD traded on Vircurex:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=215284.new#new

Just let me know by PM that you voted for GLD, and I will pay you 10 GLD 20 GLD.
(up to 100 voters, so I am pledging to pay out 1000 GLD on this one to 100 people who vote)
(GLD has 11 votes, at the time I wrote this. Need more)
UPDATE:  May 25, 2013. btceic  has added 1000 GLD to be given out to people who vote, and now you get paid 20 GLDcoin when you vote GLD
I have not been keeping your GLDcoin addresses that I was paying you GLD with, but I will be trying to make sure the previous voters all get the additional GLD that btceic is paying you. Smiley

Don't worry, I will pay, but I might be away from the computer at times, so please be patient.

Anyone else want to add to the offer? (for every 1000 you pledge, I will increase the payout to the voters by 10 more GLD )

UPDATE:  btceic  has added 1000 GLD to be given out to people who vote, and now you get paid 20 GLDcoin when you vote GLD

(Voting closes: May 31, 2013, 01:38:02 PM)  Try to get all your friends to vote GLD

You may also want to contact:
akumaburn is also offering GLD to people who vote GLD

Buying votes, not only is that cheating, which I guess I should expect from GLD, it's pathetic. People should voting for the best coin, and if GLD was the best coin, you wouldn't need to buy peoples votes.  Roll Eyes

Also, Profitability on Coinchoose, is only accurate, if there is enough volume in Buy orders, at the price. If you can't sell off the ammount of coins you mine in 1 day, than coinchoose, means shit

Hey Guys, finally I managed to set up a P2Pool for GoldCoin on my Server

Its reachable through

crypto-coins.de:8909

As it is P2Pool, just use your Wallet Address as Username and a random Passwort

Example:

Code:
cgminer.exe --scrypt -u ECGDM4tiC3L6rM5eCKYg5foQG9uY7esTqL -p fghdfdgh -o crypto-coins.de:8909]

Fee is just 1%

All my Pools are running very very smooth. I have very satisfied users.

I just found the first Block after 5 Minutes of testing the Pool with my own Worker  Grin But now join me, to make Payout more regular

mining here, received first payout, looks good Smiley hope it stays up for a few weeks Smiley

If you're going to bash go away. You could offer some advice on how to make it better on the places where it lacks.
They're not buying votes, but encouraging voting on that topic!
Besides, some people voted not for the money, as stated by them.

Hydroponica,
Why the fuck are you posting in a GLD thread, why do you care so much about GLD?
Shouldn't you be doing something FOR the WLD eco-system?
Why do you feel the need to bash GLD, do you feel threatened by it?

It's ok dude, if you want to come onto our side, we will hold no ill will, just don't do the same shit for GLD as you are doing to WLD.

In all honesty, I mined WLD for a while and when I saw how you were bashing other alt-coins I dropped it.

Keep that in mind the next time you feel like typing crap about other peoples endeavors.

Yep...it is only profitable if you can actually SELL it.  All these new coins pop up on coinchoose and show this massive "profitability", but it is completely misleading cuz unless you are lucky enough to sell them, the price goes to hell and the "profitability" drops from 250% to 50%....usually in under 24 hours.  I have come to the conclusion that chasing the top coin on coinchoose is a waste.

Ok, first, build a time machine. Next, go back in time, and make it more than just a copy of LTC with bigger block rewards and don't premine it. While your there, get rid of those ridiculous 10k blocks it started with.

When you pay someone, for voting, you are buy votes, dip shit

Erm... I guess that you are welcome.  Cool

Just like with twitter where you often see 'my tweets are not endorsements', neither are my forum posts.

However, this does appear to be a good alt. coin with clearly very active and enthusiastic supporters.

I do like the block / reward structure with this one. "Money is only money when its moving" and I think that GLDcoin should have enough 'liquidity' to allow for both hoarding and (more importantly) for spending on goods and services.

Miners want to receive sizable block rewards and the total number of GLDcoins will encourage goods and services being traded above the default decimal place setting for many many years.

I'm still studying / modeling the difficulty levels, however this is a sensible alt. coin with a potentially popular name, as people like anything 'gold', they trust in it and its also a bit shiny too.  Cheesy

Also, Profitability on Coinchoose, is only accurate, if there is enough volume in Buy orders, at the price. If you can't sell off the ammount of coins you mine in 1 day, than coinchoose, means shit

Thanks for your positve comments.

May I ask what is your motive for warning us ?

Are you giving your time and opinion to save us from our own foolishness ?
