In the NEO Devcon video's I saw Da Hongfei said that things actually become slower the more consensus nodes that get rolled out (10 - 20 over the coming 2 years). This was related to the amount of TPS when asked about it. There are other solutions for TPS though. I am wondering, will this make the block time slower or does this not have anything to do with the amount of consensus nodes?

The reason why I am asking is that the current block time is 24.59s and it should actually be 15s as I understand. I also read before that this block time will become closer to it's actual value of 15s per block, over time. How will this faster block time be achieved exactly? Will more consensus nodes actually help with this?

To support a joint ecosystem, Ontology project is handing over an amount of ONT tokens to be managed by NEO Council. NEO Council, in turn, hereby announce that it is decided to airdrop ONT tokens to the NEO community as follows:

The airdropped tokens are part of a donation from Ontology team to the NEO Council. As a gift to the community, this airdrop will consist of 20 million ONT.
Airdrop ratio: Each NEO will get 0.2 ONT (50% of which are freely tradable and the other 50% are automatically locked).
The snapshot of NEO addresses will be done at block height 1974823, which is estimated to be at March 1st, 2018, around 5:00 am (Pacific Time).

Ok the above example is pretty obvious, but look at tx hash d4789fcc8af4211ccd0af66a984b20eed2d7869811ef7917da26960274b5707f. It says 52 NEO was sent from an address back to the same address. Just by looking at the transaction on NeoScan how can you tell if it's incoming or outgoing?

that tx is basically gas claim. To claim gas you need send neo to yourself.

I see, thanks for the explanation.
So pretty much every transaction which has an equal input and output of NEO to the same address is only a way to claim GAS. I have a bunch of transactions in my NEON wallet for 0 NEO. I'm updating my profit/loss (using cointracking.info), so it is safe to ignore these 0 NEO sum transactions?

And 1 last thing that confuses me. If you see hash 86fcebc0cca4422fa7bf74ef07a4c28374d5362d1dcef3a21754ae2d2589e415, 105 NEO was sent from address AHe7T1i5zqdU6DSYW7ZRosr9MKTCKiHFLJ to the same address, but 81 NEO was also sent to address APMXLvD3445LRtYMjNDVPAgPkP142BthBZ. Was this an outgoing transaction of 81 from the first address? How can I even tell which address initiated the transaction and if it's a deposit or withdrawal?

NEON wallet is so vague and only stores transactions from 90 days so it's hard to tell by looking there.

I do not know a single one. But wouldn't it be enough if you just don't claim the gas? Or is already the opportunity to get tax problems?
