You really should keep all of your tokens in a personal wallet in order to guarantee you receive airdrops. Not only that but when you leave on an exchange there are often times you cannot access your funds due to wallet maintenance. But as far as airdrops go including NEO & NEP5 tokens your own wallet is recommended as many exchanges do it support the airdrops although they receive the tokens they choose not to distribute.

I use NEON, Morpheus and O3 labs for me NEO & NEP5. I choose to have 3 that way if one is having issues I can still access my funds.

I'm considering dropping my NEO. I've already made a decent x off it because I've bought it with a private discount. To be honest, I'm failing to see further potential.  Seems like other projects are outperforming them regarding 3rd gen b lockchain? If there is anything I overlooked please let me know.

NEO is definitely worth holding imo. The passive tokens received from GAS plus the pipeline of NEP-5 tokens makes it a standout. There is a reason why it has increased so much in recent months and there is no reason why it can't hold its value as more projects use its platform.

If you have a passive income isn't it then absolutely sure that this token would be qualified as a security?

It was originally antshares, then rebranded as Neo, to represent the new smart economy. Think Neo admins would need to address this question regarding token as security

I know about the rebranding and so ob, but whether or not this is a security is also a very important issue.

I've just downloaded the Windows/Linus/Mac wallets from https://github.com/CityOfZion/neon-wallet/releases without any problems, so it's not a Github issue.
It could be a virus scanner or Windows defender getting in the way but this is unlikely to be the problem as the wallets don't trigger a false-positve virus check, but it still might.

Try a different browser, sometime this can help with downloads, expecially from the 'Mega' download site.
