Hi all, I have upgraded from Neo GUI Wallet version 2.3 to the latest version 2.6 but my Neo and Gas balance is displaying zero. The address is showing to have my Neo on the block explorer but not shown in the GUI wallet.
May I know how can I resolve this? Thank you

This may be asking the obvious but has the wallet fully synced. Look at the 3 numbers at the bottom left of the opened wallet they should all be the same, and at the latest block height. Did you also update your wallet to the *.json format, I think this is asked for when upgrading to v2.6 form earlier versions that used the *.dat format. |

My biggest selling point for NEO is how much traction their gaining with dapps:
The fact that NEO allows you to develop dapps in a wide range of different programming languages is going to be a huge advantage over ETH.
I also like the fact its cost 500 GAS to launch a smart contract, prevents scammy projects.
Platforms like NEO are going to see huge gains this year IMO, more and more ICO's are being launched by the day

Can you withdraw your NEO into physical assets like you can bitcoin and then bury it??
Not sure what you mean by bury it, but there are a few ways to store Neo, such as Neotracker, Neo on Github, etc Be sure you store your private key in a safe place He mean probably a deckstop wallet. You can import your private key and use Neon wallet. Its lite version of full Neo wallet and working good. |

I agree with you, NEO`s community & ecosystem are growing. More and more projects choose NEO`s blockchain for their targets. The biggests examples are: NEX, nOS. Aphelion is also good project. |

Rinse and repeat  In all seriousness though, once China see's the rest of the world opening up more and more to crypto, they cannot be left behind. It would be nice to get some official support from the government for NEO too. Probably a lot of developments in the upcoming few years. Interesting times! |

ive been unable to download the newest wallet version of neon 2.5 for windows 10 and thus unable to collect gas for weeks, anyone else having this annoying issue? i keep waiting to see if there will be a fix but nothing yet that im aware of

Look like China are seeing how other countries are embracing cryptcurrencies and they are starting to realise that banning various aspects of crypto was not that great an idea. It may take months (or even longer) for China to return to the crypo family but when it does you can be assured of a massive spike in trading, so just hodl onto you NEO, or whatever, and wait. |
