Basically, you have been saying that "if there's something which is better in the same field with the product you promote, you will fail". Now you say that you would still prefer Coca-Cola even if the competing product were absolutely identical. It may work with Coca-Cola (something subjective) but may not work with something which cab be objectively measured. And this measure in the case of Bitcoin versus Bitcoin Cash showdown is profitability. Note that I'm not favoring any of them here, I just take a neutral approach and claim that the currency which will be able to bring more profits over longer periods of time will necessarily win since profitability is what the vast majority of people are looking for. And it is not just about regular Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash, it is about any coin out there

I agree, but still I don't think that Bitcoin Cash will be the winner. To me it looks like the situation with high transaction fees is improving day by day. Right now, for example, you have to pay 180 satoshis/byte for a pretty fast, within 30 minutes, transaction. As far as I remember it was 400+ satoshis/byte some time ago. I think changes for good will bring more people to Bitcoin in the future and Bitcoin Cash will be forgotten by many of its today's supporters

But that's not my point. Transaction fees are mostly irrelevant (as well as time it takes to confirm a transaction). This can be easily explained and proved in practice. First, Bitcoin prices are determined at exchanges, and traders don't move their bitcoins very often, so that they don't care a lot about commissions and times. Further, if the fees really mattered as much as people think they do, we would see a massive exodus from Bitcoin to altcoins, most certainly to Litecoin with its cheap and fast transactions. But as I said, it is profitability which plays the most important role here, i.e. not fees or confirmation times, and thus people stick to Bitcoin and bite the bullet (with high fees and slow confirms)

actually I also not too understand the difference between a bitcoin and bitcoin cash but that I know of so far bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that is in computer networks, in the blockchain and the network is difficult to manipulate while bitcoin cash i.e. miners and developers working together to improve the cryptocurrency in the future, however, all of this raises concerns in terms of security of the bitcoin cash.

Yes, BitcoinCash is just a new altcoin that was ripped off newly from the main BTC, so you shouldn’t expect it to start competing with BTC since it’s still new in market. This is just its first month, so let’s wait and see how things roll out in coming months. Personally I do not see any big potential with BCH as bitcoin itself is updating itself to scale high volumes. So, BCH may fade out in quicker times.

Correct, the miners made wild and bold claims about this new coin but you must learn to tune out those statements, that is why I always think of those as commercials where the owners try to hype their product, the same is true for bitcoin cash, bitcoin cash is not accepted anywhere and I do not think that is going to change.

Bitcoin cash is a kid as compared to original Bitcoin. No matter how hard Bitcoin cash works, it can never ever surpass genuine Bitcoin. I didn't even mind claiming my btc, first I don't want to transfer my btc and 2nd it will be few since I only have few btc left wgen that August 1 splits happen. Plus knowing that bch will really be nothing n time.

Definitely Bitcoins will not defeat by a bitcoin cash that just created because of fork and still its just an another alt in crptocurrency that has been at its good value or good price because its new to market. I don't see what all the fuss is about. Yeah, I think BCH is an altcoin... Bitcoin forks tend to be altcoins. I prefer Bitcoin, but I think we might all be using some superior altcoin someday. Who knows? If something like Segwit2x overtakes Bitcoin, I recall Greg Maxwell saying that he'd rather launch a new altcoin than work on legacy BTC + POW change. Whatever he builds is worth keeping an eye on, should that happen.

Anyway, I think in the world of cryptocurrencies, we should be supportive of free markets. No need to be dogmatic. That's why I hold my Bitcoin Cash, even if I don't think it can compete with Bitcoin in the long run. Because I don't fight the market.

Some of the recent bch market movements over the past few weeks have begun to show that bch is not a potential coin, most users choose to sell it and go back to bitcoin, unstable blocksize will have a negative effect on bch and for reasons no business support for this coin, I think this Is the right time bch go to the abyss.

Indeed, we should follow the scent of money, and if Bitcoin Cash takes over regular Bitcoin, there is no reason not to use it if it can give decent profits. But so far we have seen a huge price rise in Bitcoin and essentially nothing of Bitcoin Cash. If things go on like this, I don't think that this Bitcoin forkcoin is ever going to cut it. For most practical intents and purposes, it doesn't offer any advantage before the original Bitcoin, so the only way it could compete with the latter is by offering better profitability. But we haven't seen any yet
