I just accidently pasted the last emails subject
'Authorship ICO raised $2.5M, U.S. Government shows interest for blockchain usage'
into google search... And first couple of hits were 'fake email-generators'
I hope you do exclude those from the referral bounty!?
I spent much time explaining and promoting Authorship in Telegram Groups, mailing groups and so on.(mostly in german groups)
Would be a shame if those scamers take away all the tokens!

Not to worry, we ban all those fake/temporary emails. Plus, without access to those expiring emails they use, they won't be able to claim their free ATS anyway Smiley

Haha, that'll be amazing to see the crying when they realise this!

Edit: If you go on that website, there is a bunch of emails from contact@Authorship for people to confirm..

I don't know how the prices of the exchanges will develop since all these bounty hunters and counsellor advertisers. How do you plan to deal with this problem? What happens to unclaimed and unsold tokens? Will they be burned?

I am expecting the price to swing around $0.05 to $0.30 but let's see. That's just speculation and no one can say for sure, right now. It depends on people. If they truly believe in the project, they will not dump and rather hold for long-term.
Can you tell me on what factors you are basing you speculation on?

My friend, you can see that people will try to profit immediately. For 1 ETH, they are getting minimum of 5,000 tokens. That's $450 profit straight. Who wouldn't like to cash in? There will be a race of people selling Tokens. I am not expecting $10 because that's very unlikely. At-least for now.

I have said this many times, but I will repeat it again. In this project, a lot of investors are not involved in blockchain, trading and crypto-currencies - which will hold tokens at least until the full implementation of the project - the platform. This means that real coins on the exchange will be traded much less, according to their calculations this figure is 4- 5 million coins.
At a small price, such a count of really traded coins is a very good target for traders of speculators or pampas.

Time will tell, and not much time left in the release so let's wait!

I just hope you won't make it to hard for the _real_ refs to gather their tokens. Since most of my referrals are not much into Crypto (but very much into reading books!)  Grin
uhh.. i see another night coming where I have to explain 50+ people how to do this and that  Roll Eyes You have me already as an author i guess, will you publish user manuals? lol

It will be easy for real referrals, we do not plan to complicate things.

sorry, but you got that fundamentally wrong.
i just searched for the e-mail title in google and found the mentioned inbox.
that guy is real. and he is pretty active on dating websites and receives message from there too.

i also used a temporary e-mail address for signup.
in fact i heave 3 e-mail addresses. one for very close friends and banking. one for online shopping. and the third one for everything else, such as newsletter signups.
e-mails in the temporary address get deleted after 30 days. but i log in every couple of days there. so i can receive ATS newsletters.

it would be very unfair to delete all signups from temporary addresses. because they belong to real people. it's not like they cheat the system, it's just they don't want their primary e-mail address flooded.
i mean, who in his right mind would enter his real personal e-mail address for a newsletter signup? ever heard of "spam"?

also peter, you should rethink your decision. otherwise you can eliminate probably 80% of your signups. although it's real people signing up.
i don't think that is the plan?

eliminate 80% of signups? Curious cause it seems only about 0.5% of registrations seem to come from temporary emails. Never figured 8 in 10 people use temporary emails. Probably because they DON'T? I personally never used one and I am yet to have a close one use one either.

If you are afraid of spam, you can always mark it as spam and you never get to see another email from that sender.

If you used a temporary email and are the only referral don't worry. But if I see you have a dozen referrals all using temp emails , I think it's safe to conclude what is going on with that usage.

PS: Why you use a temporary email for banking? Isn't that personal and important enough? Aren't you afraid this is a serious security risk? Not getting it.. not really buying it either.

It looks kinda stupid when you give a "hotbunny1999@trashmail.com" address to your bank or a office ;-) He said, he uses his real address for banking ;-)
Of course some companies sell your email address and you could be flooded with spam. Then, for god sake, get a trashmail address for singnups at xxx, casino, dating or whatever sites. Your brain is the best spamfilter.
But concerning the ICO bounty, i'd rather have a collateral damage in the false refs then kicking out even one _real_ ref. When my company did such things like a ref campaign or e-mail signup campaign for a client I learned that you have to live with 5% cheaters. It is much more expansive (manpower) to filter them compared to just live with them.

I can understand some, very few people, might use this for a legit purpose. And we don't ban anyone just for this. But once they have a temp email and they also have a bunch of refs who registered using his link, ALL with temp emails, it's safe to assume we can discard these registrations.

100 trash addresses that registered with same ref link and identical IP.. and all have the same ETH wallet.. that would be very simple to handle i guess. One simple "select" in the database  Grin

Hello man. I heard about authorship ATS yesterday and I have registered without any delay so that I wont miss the opportunity just as I missed the bitcoin offer then and have sent my ref link to my course mates and fellow students. But I have an issue which I have already sent you private message about. Kindly read and reply. Thanks.

Hello I just want to know this especially how tokens work like ATS. Once token released to all who earned/invested, can we immediately change it to btc? Even tokens without on exchanges yet?.

Like ATS convert to Eth (myetherwallet) then BTC other wallet. Is it possible?. And how about the value?. Thanks!

All tokens need to be listed through exchanges in order to be exchanged.

There's no magic that converts one token to another, it's people through exchanges that buy/sell their tokens for others.

When you exchange ATS to BTC for example, you sell your ATS to buy BTC and someone else in return SELL his BTC to buy your ATS.

Regards,
Peter

This clears all of my questions. I would really like to commend you for your prompt response and helping all participants Smiley no wonder why this thread and the project is really making impact to all investors and bounty hunters. This maybe a little gestures of yours since we all know how busy you are with the project but still mean a lot to us Smiley kudos and looking forward to success of this project!!

I hope all bounty program head (or just manager per se) are also active interacting with participants like you

But from the campaign, it was stated that the tokens would be sent to the ethereum wallet with which we registered with, would the ATS tokens be automatically converted to ethereum and sent to our respective wallets or what are the procedures we shall use to get the tokens? Thanks.

From my understanding, it will not be automatically converted to etherium. It  will remain as ATS but you can convert it to etherium or any other coin once listed on exchanges. Smiley

This is also my understanding. Using sort of codes (like decimals, etc) to myetherwallet, it can be converted to Ethereum which can be converted to BTC. But I think this is wrong
