The new low hashrate notification works off of your 5 minute hashrate average. If you are submitted 20 shares per minute (hashrate of worker / 1.4) this should an acceptable time range. If you have set your diff higher, please be aware that your 5 minute average will swing back and forth more than if you submit 20 shares per minute.
After setting up my workers for low hashrate notifications and letting things run for a while, we realized that a 5 minute average was just not enough. I've now made this configurable and it is set to 10 minutes currently.

I've found elsewhere that I needed a 15 minute average and set to 40 percent drop to filter out the false notifications and even then I get a few that sneak through.

I have bumped up the average to 15 minutes and have all of my BFL minirig workers set to a 40% drop. Thanks for the heads up!

I guess so, 0.5BTC per day since I started and nothing has changed, which is good in a way. I run at 550GH/s. Anybody willing to be open and share a normal weekly average earnings from PPLNS at around 550GH/s? I've been debating a switch to PPLNS, but read that it's only about 5% better in the long run, whatever the long run means. Thanks.

About 5.3 BTC since Nov 1 running between 575-600GH/s So about .66 BTC per day. But, with this last enormous difficulty jump and some bad pool luck the last few days, I don't think I will see that being sustained for the next week. ;-(

I stick with PPLNS 'cuz I like the gambling feel of it. I'm at around 700 GH/s and I get about .17 btc per block, so I think at this time PPS breaks even with PPLNS at somewhere between 3-4 blocks per day. (*just remember that as soon as you switch that will be the day we find 8 blocks and then you'll be crying - at least that's what always happens to me. *sidenote edit* has anyone noticed the graph of the estimated network hashrate? looks like we aren't the only ones having bad luck... also looks like we should see a big bounce soon, send some positive thoughts.

I think this would be a crazy time to switch to PPS. After a long drought we are due for some make-up blocks. After a really good run is probably the best time to switch. But I'm with you on the whole gambling feel. The odds even it all out but it still kind of feels like gambling. Plus over the longer term I think that 5% cost adds up.

Thanks for the honest feedback. I'm still a bit torn. Based on what pixl8r said: About 5.3 BTC since Nov 1 running between 575-600GH/s So about .66 BTC per day. I guess it's worth a shot until the next diff. He's hashing a bit faster than me, so that may mean the 0.10 ish BTC difference. F it, I'll give it a go and hang around for a while to make it worth it. Maybe after you guys find a couple blocks. PPS does feel consistent and reassuring, but since I'm loyal and not hopping, it seems a bit back assward to use PPS. Hopefully my train-of-thought is correct :) @gigavps I'm just curious if you could reveal how many peeps are on PPS vs PPLNS. Thanks.

14% of the pool is currently on PPS as of 3 hours ago. You can see this on any block detail page under the "Rewards" list.

I have rejected shares of 0.12%. Is that good? Seems good. But it's adding up.

0.12% is pretty awesome. Good deal. I have been on for 3 weeks at a steadily increasing hash speed and the number is up to almost 200,000 shares or about 20% of one of my shifts. Seems like a lot. But from a % standpoint it is small.

Do I get a prize for ending a rather long block (~11hrs) and then immediately follow it up with a short block (~1hr) with less than 2TH/s, lol.

Would be nice to be able to delete a requested payment.
For example, I now have reached my payout thresshold and a payment request is made automatically. An hour later for example 2 more blocks have matured, currently I can request a manual payment and pay 2 times the fee of 0.001 but what I would rather do is cancel the first request and put in a new request for the full amount of matured coins. Saves me 0.001 fees and it saves you guys 1 more payment to make.
Also would love to see the 24h earnings of each worker.
Cheers

+1 on the 24hour per worker stats. That would be very useful as I only check the site proper once a day.
