Seed Phrase BIP 44 Ledger Nano S 24 Words and one Word are away .

I have a Ledger Nano S with a BTC Wallet
The Wallet is ok. Than i will update.     It did not work 
Then I entered the Ledger three times the wrong password So that it is resetted .
OK. Your devise has been reset ( 3 wrong PIN )

Than i will restore configuration . And what i see 
24 words must we have. i have 23 words . word number 12 is missing
I forgot to write it down . Simply overlooked

and now i can not restore my BTC Wallet from Ledger Nano S . The word is missing .
Word 12 is   puzzle,mist,verifi,view,ankle etc   

There is a possibility to restore the wallet  . My nerves are at the end guys

Does something happen when you enter wrong seed? If no, you can find that word with a brute force attack. It will take maximum 1 day to find it (if your system isn't really bad).

nothing happens . i have enter 6-7 wrong seed  .i can more and more anno 2039 
I have never done that > brute force attack !  Never busy.sorry
i have a normal laptop i5 x73s asus with SSD and 8 GB ram   not cia server here at home

Yes. English. BIP44 is Ledger Nano S . Hmmm. 2048 words. Not 18 hours. 18 years I need    Then I'm already in the graveyard
At the ledger you have to enter everything by hand
Pin 2 x  and 24 words with 2 mini buttons . My fingers are already hurt .

- 23 Words.  it was no double words in the system.    I am now at word 190 bless
i make it with electrum .
a other wallet i have so restored for trial . That worked with electrum.
But I still have about 2000 words to enter

If you have a bitcoin address (preferably the first one generated) for that seed... a simple python script would probably find the correct seed in less time that it took to write your post.

I have 23 correct words and one is missing. Number 12 is "lost" or Misssing
Wallet address is also available .
There must be something to be done
Is not much BTC. But for the little  daughter. But she does not know   
Should later become a surprise with 18

I don't think that there is any easy solution for this, other than to contact the Ledger Wallet guys and see whether they can help. If that doesn't work, then you can try the Services section here and hire someone who can hack the wallet. But I have to warn you that the hacking services doesn't come cheap. It is going to cost you anywhere from $100 to $500.

Just so everyone knows... I have already successfully recovered the seed for the OP and helped them retrieve their coins.  

It would appear that the reason for the OP missing a seed word was likely due to the fact that the same word appeared twice in a row in the seed. ie. "one two three four five six seven seven eight nine ten eleven"

So, my theory is that the OP just thought they hadn't clicked "next" to display the next word properly... not realising that the Nano S was simply displaying the same word a second time... and then they didn't realise they had only written down 23 words instead of 24.

But, at the of the day, a happy result
