Like I said, not complete.  

I'm enjoying reading your New Education Principles. Where would you like to go with them? I'm on board.

I would like to generate more ideas along the lines of people becoming more financially successful.  I would love to see people get involved in work collectives.  Basically, most successful companies started out with people just trusting each other.  It's hard to do big things alone and also hard to just take money and put it into something successful.   Sweat equity is something people can exchange without the added fear of people just taking the money and leaving.

I do too.

Just an observation.  Some who follow this thread might think that there isn't much activity in this thread and that's a reflection on its quality.  But in reality, almost all threads on BTCTalk and even many on Discord have very minimal activity in the last year.  Very few people are involved on the team level in even old projects.  I am not sure of exact frequency, but I would look at coins like NavCoin, Peercoin, Curecoin and Namecoin. It was like this before the big bullrun.  You could have almost anything for 1 Sat.

MVT ETH Contract - Proposal to update MVT ERC20 Token. This would be the base level binder that holds Movement value. All "revenue" from the ecosystem will filter though to Bag holders. The contract allows all to benefit from value generation.  Functions will be tied to voting in Aragon through the Minime contract. That way the community will control the token. I need some help finishing and am paying ETH.

If you'd like to help, exposure is a large problem. A person doesn't have to be a developer to make a difference. Use your personal toolkit and think about how you can add value to the whole.

Design Goals

The MovementDAO will allow MVT token holders to collectively receive, manage, and allocate tokens.

All current MVT token holders will receive the same amount of tokens in the DAO. We will then depreciate the old MVT token contract. The new MovementDAO and its tokens will then be the source of truth for the MovementDAO community.

MVT token holders will be able to propose and pass votes for signaling, capital management, and contract interactions. This includes minting/burning new tokens as well as interacting with, deploying, and controlling external contracts.

Initially, MVT token holders will want to be able to issue rewards to people who contribute to the project. There are many ways this might be accomplished and research will be required to determine the best fit. Some initial directions to explore include, but are not limited to:

   

• Allocating MVT tokens for new contributors from an MVT commons-pool.

   

• Creating and managing a Colony so that the MovementDAO can determine high-level initiatives and budgets, then let a group of contributors manage that budget to achieve a goal.

 

• Using a mechanism such as the Rewards app to issue dividends to token holders.

    The distribution of rewards to token holders may or may not create legal risk. As such we will receive a written opinion on the DAO design from legal experts before proceeding with the launch. This is just an opinion (not legal advice!). It can, however, help us avoid using mechanisms that have a high likelihood of creating problems down the road.

Now that more and more DAO advocates get relegated to handmaids and waiters, shortage of personnel becomes a threat to the notion that the ecosystem can survive the repercussions of gradual economic decay engendered by coronavirus. I would say most people in crypto will be slayed because of legit superstitions that crypto has a demonic nature.

One idea for funding, we come up with a specific goal. Ex: Bring community interaction to DAOs. Then we apply for funding from an existing DAO.
