What makes you confused and do not believe bitcoin is able to help the community?
It's simple, you can see very high bitcoin prices this year and if people already have bitcoin before this year or even just join bitcoin, then people will have an excellent income and profit from bitcoin. so bitcoin can help people in terms of their economy.

It is not Bitcoin as is that will help the community but the Bitcoiners!, Bitcoin is just a tool for people ( to some) to earn money and gain profit from it. If People who have bitcoins will start donating a small amount, this could be a great step to help the community. Community Drives Bitcoin to it's fully extent. The choice is on the People who have bitcoin, will they help 3rd world countries or not?.

Bitcoin helps communities by helping those people who do not have a stable job. It gives opportunities to those people who wants to succeeds and have a better life even at their homes. Specially those poor people who has a knowledge and belongs in a third world country ( like my country I believe ). It lessen the count of indigent people in a community.

There maybe a small percentage for the Economy of One county but it really depends on what country and numbers of bitcoin users is present on that side.. The third world does not exist in any country, but it is present in every country, it grows outside the rule of law, and bitcoin is the one that is used for Transactions in the underworld.

I think you are mistaken the meanings of the words, the third world has become equivalent to say a poor country but in the past that meant countries not aligned with the US or the USSR, the first world was the US, the UK and their allies and the second world was the USSR, China and their allies, so a country can be first world and be poor.

Actually I do not see bitcoin in a 3rd world country.
The people are poor, they need every cent. Why would they use a currency that has transaction fees when they can pay cash?
Lets see it realistic, when they open a business, they will not start to ship world wide immediatelly. They do business person to person.
Bitcoin might be a help for them, somewhen in the future, a decade maybe. Or two.
For the moment, they have other problems than adapting to a virtual currency.

Obviously, it is crystal clear that bitcoins are not going to change the situations very much in third world countries. Only the developed countries and developing ones are enjoying the perks of bitcoins and in these communities bitcoins are helping many in improving their conditions. Correction: It is most definitely because of its volatile value. That is a terrible trait of Bitcoin. Just imagine, if you were a shopkeeper and you placed a price of 0.0005 a 3 litre milk cartoon. The price of Bitcoin at that time was probably worth around 5000  USD. The next day the price drops from 5000 to 4200 USD. You just lost some money. So who would adopt Bitcoin as a currency because of its volatile value. Such a characteristic would only make Bitcoin a bad investment. (in the short term) The only reason why bitcoin is a currency is because a minority of the populace accepts Bitcoin. If these merchants stopped accepting Bitcoin, Bitcoin will lose its name as an currency and everyone would just refer to it as an asset.
