It seems to me that the best coin for investing now is Ripple. The price has dropped significantly and so you can buy it pretty cheap as of now. The project is only developing and there should be the price increase soon.

Why only one ? Why not at least 3 coin. I would give you 3 coin worth invest to :
1. Exscudo ( launch in 2018 q1. Now you cant buy it. Ico price 0.0002 btc )
2. Genesis vision ( ico price $0.70 -$1. Now arround $6 ish and coin circullation only 4.4 million )
3. Waves ( i recommend it because of next update waves next generation )

I also support diversification in crypto currencies. I like your idea of having at least in 3 of them.  We can expect waves to return some good amount of profits but I don't see any potential in other two that you have mentioned. Would not it be much better if Bitcoin and Ethereum were also in the list? After all, one is the best crypto coin and the other is the best alternative coin. I invest in both of them and they have never disappointed me.

It's always interesting to spread your investment on several coins (I'd say six to ten), preferably of different type, it does not leave you exposed to one crypto Asset (we know they are all fragile), and you can take advantage of dips and ups that occur often at different times. All in All it had been a decent mix for the second half of 2017. I am in the process of selling some to reorganize the portfolio for 2018 but have not made up my mind yet. I'm considering Nav (strong road map but you need a lot to stake), and DCR (very promising technology but I am not sure about the money side, fail to see how it it supposed to turn out money), XRP, I will probably get out of LTC and OK CasH, and still looking for a joker or two (usually the genial hunch you have while eating the turkey that turns out to be a disaster).

ETHEREUM that was the best token with a good result in the development, just in a short time the price going to high. I mean there are tons of the token worth to invest such as aragon, bat, and status network. BAT has made by the brave browser developers.

agreed ethereum is the best coin to bet on now,put your capital on this one and u will see next year the earning that you need will come your way.after bitcoins huge domination alts will do same next year

I've been following these sorts of threads (and made one) for several months.  Certain coins come up consistently in the top coins anyway, others are flavour of the month/week/bounty hunters.  And the advocates will say how the team is great, there's good news coming, read the white paper etc.  Pretty much everything gets a shout over the months (though i dont recall Tron or Reddcoin in the noise).

So my tip is... random number generator, select a number between 1-500, chose that from the list on Coinmarketcap.  I'll do it for you: todays selection is Enjin.

Personally, i think Rise has a potential although lisk and rise have similarities but I still go for rise..  It has huge potential. Many different programming languages, new company structure with foundation set up in Gibraltar. I see this as an excellent long term hold because of the team and their determination. Reasons to invest are: Blockchain Incubator, Mobile app store, fast and easy to use wallet, staking, low market cap. Hope this helps!

i can say it depends on your financial, if you have a lot of money, you should buy ethereum because it is more useful than any altcoins on the market so its price will be much more than 800$, but if you dont have much money, you can buy ripple, it is very hot altcoins recently because of its fast rising.

PRL, if for trading purposes especially short term I believe this coin will be good for that. My friend join its bounty campaign and since then the price after they get the coin has almost doubling right now. This is not famous one but in exchanges it is really good to be honest.

You will have to do that yourself if someone recommended you a coin and if you invest using that advice and you lose money you are going to blame that person for the bad advice it give to you and if you invest a huge amount of money the loss is going to be even more painful.
