Bittrex Withdrawal Problem due to Verification

Just so that everyone knows, currently bittrex has 0 BTC daily withdrawal limit for all new accounts (and most old ones). "Basic verification" does not work so if you want your coins out, you are forced to upload official ID and a selfie to bittrex. As you can see from this thread and by googling, bittrex support is ... not great. I would not recommend using bittrex for anything.

Yeah, it's been covered in other threads here, seeing they don't do fiat, it must be incompetence or some scam brewing.

Either way, it's a serious alarm bell sounding.

It would be valuable to know if there is anyone who has successfully performed "enhanced" verification and withdraw in the last few days. If that fails for everyone then it is pretty clear what is happening..

I wasn't locked like some others so I was able to withdraw my funds.  They kept asking for enhanced verification but since the min withdraw was less than what I had anyways thru just the basic like .4 btc or something I never updated my info.   It's pretty shitty situation since I really liked Bittrex exchange and it was def the best one I've used to date but I'm not taking any chances just in case.

Hopefully it all gets worked out for those who aren't able to withdraw.

What really pisses me off is you sign up agreeing to certain terms and condition, they take the money off you, then change the terms and conditions. I didn't sign up for a service were my daily withdrawal limit is 0 BTC without verification, never would have, but that's all I have now which is a bit rude of them.

Many people have, there is a thread with many tickets and like half of them are solved. Most people that got enhanced can withdraw. That's why I'm saying it doesn't look like a scam, why would they verify accounts if it was a scam, they are just unprofessional.

And what do you want people to do, genius? If you have thousands of dollars or more stuck there, there is no other solution than giving them your ID. Many other exchanges ask for ID too, for fiat withdrawals anyways, it's not like bittrex is the only one, they are just extremely unprofessional and your link is not confirmed.

Any Updates?? I have been waiting for over a month regarding the "name mismatch"problem. Are there people that have been verified after uploading documents. If more and more people get verified this means that my money is safe and i just have to wait.

Yes there are people that have been verified but it's random, they are not solving tickets chronologically for some odd reason. There is someone who got verified only after 3 days and there is someone who is still waiting for 1 month +

I am waiting for verification for 10 days now. Same Name Mismatch problem. I have been sending emails, ids, explanations. Haven't received any response but some generic that verification is slow these days.

Why do you have  thousands of dollars or more stuck there? Why did you use a shady exchanger?

you said that they extremely unprofessional. do you want them to admit that they lost the clients IDs?

Tell Bittrex that it is no longer the service you signed up for, they changed the service with out your agreement, and you want a refund.

There are class actions under way I believe.

Tell Bittrex that it is no longer the service you signed up for, they changed the service with out your agreement, and you want a refund.

There are class actions under way I believe.

I doubt it, but you get to voice your complaint.

The problem is that Bittrex went ahead with these changes with out seeking customer approval first.
That is bad business practice and they need to know it by people demanding refunds.

Yeah it's all crap, other US exchanges aren't restricting you to 0 BTC withdrawals without warning if not fully verified.

If Bittrex had taken the time to email their user base and clearly outlined their new draconian verification requirements well before they implemented them, would could have withdrawn and be gone to another exchange. Instead the took the sociopathic approach with little or no regard to the impact on their users.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the requirements governments have for fiat transactions. But Bittrex doesn't do fiat, even if they did, the fiat verification requirements shouldn't apply for crypto.

Yeah, if they really had a good reason for increasing verification requirements, that is all fine.. but the way how they implemented them for both old and new members could have not been worse. They must have noticed the complaints from the community week after week, but still no change.. that is the baffling part. Don't they even try to stay in business anymore?
