I was thinking that as well, but what would anyone have to gain from that? I'm sure they check whether the email and profile match, and if there are irregularities like two people claiming to be the same person, the devs will ask for more proof (that's how I would operate)

Still there is no announcement about signature removing from the campaign manager, I think the campaign manager is doing spreadsheet updating so finished will get information about signature removing.

I think there was already an instruction on how to claim the bounty, you just have to fill up the form.
However, you are correct that there is no announcement yet whether you are free to remove signatures yet, maybe they are still in the process of counting posts.
