Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable?

I have come to realize in recent time that holding bitcoin in ones wallet is more profitable and a little bit risk free as compared to trading altcoin or what do you think ?

I think both are very profitable, now is the right time to buy altcoin, because altcoin prices are falling due to the rising bitcoin prices soaring tough hardfork the umpteenth time. so if you save bitcoin from last month this is when its profits are in can, and if not have altcoin then this time is the right time to buy altcoin at cheap price.

If you know every market move. You will earn more here because you can not earn 10% daily. The average altcoins increase is infinite and that can happen in just one day. If you buy altcoins with potentially the same thing will happen. You will definitely be an instant millionaire right away. First, you cannot know every market move, you can only predict a pattern and as much as you think altcoins can be profitable, if you have no idea of what you are doing, you can easily lose everything. Like you said, and I totally agree with you, trading requires a lot of study and some experience, it gets to a point that you just have to make some quick decisions and just the studying of chart will not help you.

When you just hold bitcoin, there is smaller risk of losing because you will just depend on bitcoin's price whether increasing or decreasing and since there is higher possibility of it increasing in due time then you would be profitable. The risk is if your wallet will be hacked and your coins will be stolen while when you are trading altcoins, there is higher risk but higher rewards as well because you can double the amount of your bitcoin in just hours, days or weeks iif you know what to do. For me, trading is more profitable than holding because in holding the amount is fix and the value increase while in trading though there is risk of losing more, when you are profitable then you have higher profits because the amount of your bitcoin increase and the value increase as well.

For me, it is none other than holding of bitcoin which is far more profitable and beneficial than any other thing. One thing we all know very well and that is the market price of bitcoin will rise most of the times no matter what the circumstances are, so it is better to play safe instead of trading. You just need to remain patient and you will get a very good amount at the end.

If you know nothing then yeaaa it has bigger risk to trade altcoin considering the volatility almost unpredictable.
