IP limitation was never a good option to prevent abuse of any sort. Using VPN or any kind of proxy will defectively render this security feature useless.
If the faucet farming is really that harmful to the site then the best way to prevent faucet abuse is to limit faucet somehow.
For example: Faucet should only generate really low amount of satoshis, and grow over time with more wagered BTC.

Pro faucet farmers....really. have they ever been caught? I am not sure of faucet worth trying hard to hit 50k. Even if some hits that 350x one time each day. He will only make 0.015 btc per months which I think is not big and there are many chances that he won't make it even half of it. And none have that much patience to wait for it whole day. It's nothing in front of what primedice gives in it's giveaways.

Yup.
Both of you are missing that robots can farm the faucet automatically while changing the IP every once in a while to continue farming.
The only real way to protect themselves is to lower the amount given by the faucet so that it's no longer interesting for robots to do it.

If they are using robots then amount don't matter. If they are doing it then it don't matter how much is the amount. Anything would be useless against them. However i can see there are few accounts banned who haven't deposited since 3 months and using faucets or faucet farming since a long time.

The account will be muted if you have not deposited in prime dice for the past three months and you are using faucet and it is done simply because to counter faucet abusers ,with the price of bitcoin rising they cannot simply let people to take advantage of the system.I think the mute will be lifted once you deposit some coins in your account.

If you want to get rid of facuet abusers you should have a min BTC rollover amount. Make it high like 5-10 BTC.

What is the point to make deposit and then withdraw it without getting any profit at all? Or did you even try to play it here? Since you already make some deposit at least you should wagered some amount and try your luck. But it is pointless thing to do when you make deposit and then withdraw it again, it is better if you don't make deposit at all so you won't lose the transaction fee

This is a good idea and something like this is implemented on Primedice, but unfortunately your faucet starts growing only after 10 BTC is wagered. I think it would be nice if we had at least a small addition to our faucet after say every 0.1 wagered. I mean even 1-2 satoshis plus to your initial faucet would make you feel that you are making some kind of progress.

It should be fixed right away or in a short period of time, as I am hearing so many complaints and issues about faucet farmings. As the number of players are a bit increasing its true that it is really hard to monitor each of players in the community. There should be a way to fixed it immediately, I don't know what to suggest also but i know the time will come to make it possible.

It doesn't matter how they limit the claims per IP because most faucet farmers most likely have access to a large database of IPs that range from different counties. Plus thats also too work manual labour. Most likely the faucet will either be reduced further or will be completely removed for new players.

The main reason they blocked you should be not depositing since last three months and faucet farming (at least what I know). Correct me if I am wrong but you quality for at least one of them. Idk why they have done that as their 24 hours profit is always more than 600btc. Looks like a cheap shot to me.

you would have noticed,that there is a deposit rule introduced,so if you haven't deposited in 3 months
and were only playing faucet,you get muted
