I've been playing on Primedice for a couple of years. Occasional depositor, but would mostly play around with faucet. I was permanently muted last night off for faucet abuse. That means I can't talk to my friends in chat, or claim faucet anymore. The thing is, I had no idea I was abusing the faucet or doing anything against the rules of the site. I thought faucet was there and available to use, not something that came with strings attached. I know that Primedice does have the right to permanently ban or disable me for any reason at all. I am just confused, as I thought I was playing by the rules. Can anyone shed some light on this? I have been advised support would get back to me, but I'm just really bummed out and miss the community.

Just added up my deposits since I joined in 2014, I have deposited 1.03173206 BTC in total. I have read in the forum there is a non-written rule where you need to deposit at least 0.025 within the past 3 months to continue to use faucet? Can support confirm?

I think there is a rule about it if you haven't deposited anything since 3 months and was using faucets a way to earn(faucet farming). Your account will be muted for ever. I have seen alot of accounts getting banned. However yo can contact support via live chat and they will give you more details about it.

I think the better solution for this kind of problem is to disable faucet for those who didn't make a lower-limit deposit in the past 3 months and give them a notification to let users aware why they can't claim faucet. And when user makes the appropriate deposit, the system should enabled their faucet again.

Most likely they got some criteria on how they choose to lock certain players. I think its most likely the gamblers who never make deposits and just constantly use the faucet. The faucet is just meant to be a way to test the site not to make any risk-free gambling bets.

If you deposit some BTC, and bet with your own funds then I am sure you could use the faucet from time to time.

It is not about profit all the time. Actually by giving freebies or even let them keep on using faucet, the site will be looking more crowded then the other site. Thus this will attract more players to come and stay, imagine how will it looks like when you are the only one play in the site . That is just so boring even when you are not chatting at all

Now my faucet has been blocked!! I had 2500 satoishi faucet. One the whole reason I joined and use Primedice was because I could build up my faucet :/

So basically, you can ''earn'' rank in PD only to have it stripped away

if you read the thread carefully,instead of jumping in with the scam accusations first
you would have noticed,that there is a deposit rule introduced,so if you haven't deposited in 3 months
and were only playing faucet,you get muted
if you are a legit player,you should deposit and then contact support for the mute to be lifted

Does not fair enough as I can say, there must be some case when people claim their faucet without doing some deposit in 3 months. Unless they are really faucet abuser but still you can saw from his stats whether he is faucet abuser or not.

I think the reason they do this is to make sure your account wasn't sold or hacked. THere are people who used the same password on PD as they did on bitcointalk and bitcointalk got hacked around a year ago.

Either way most people who have high BTC rollovers they usually only gamble with real money instead of a tiny faucet, so they have a point.

So what if they sell their account? That is their rights to do it and the new owner should understand that they need to deposit before they played. And what can you even do with some satoshi thst you get from faucet? Do you believe that they really can get the profit? I am not wondering about this thing, because I suffer more than you ever. I can still remember it well when last time I played on betterbets which I have exactly 33 reds streaks with 2x multiplier, although I start with small basebet I can't recover my lose too because of that long streak

Exactly, if you run your bets in a longrun then its would just be eaten by the House Edge (HE). Well me i have some bad experienced that hit 27 reds streak obvoiusly i strarted with 300 babes bet but its so long reds streak so i doesn't recover it after this long streak

You do really have the point because if a player did manage to earn that big then provably fair system on servers side does work but when we are talking on the players side its not fair at all since he do make use of some exploit which he can able to earn that huge amount. Its pretty much next to impossible to reverse engineer an provably fair system. Yes they give you the hashed SHA256 seed, if you could somehow find the unhashed seed then you would be able to know the outcome just by adding your client seed and noonce. This is currently not possible. If it was then the entire internet would be a security risk.

My guess is he found some leak of unhashed seeds or he determined maybe some deterministic pattern into how the seeds are generated.

Also, btc prices went higher so they don't want faucet abusers to be active only during that time. It is a good thing because whoever want this happy hour free coins should be active on site most of the time. But think instead of wasting time on these free coins we should play the game with a small amount and do other things with that remaining time. Anyway, it is very hard to reach withdrawal limit with those free coins.
