Will be online within a few hours! Issues with the database. All is well though.

Sorry to seem impatient, but your post was at 6 am. It's now 2 pm Sad Website went down yesterday around 7 pm.
What's happening?

according to him a database problem. though seems like they would have a backup

I don't know what it's like when a database goes down, not familiar with it Smiley
I can only go by what Stunna posted about ETA: few hours. Smiley

typically you'd have a backup of a database, and it would only take a few hours to restore. from time stamp on twitter it has been 16 hours. I've had an exchange (mail server) database go corrupt, and found out the previous tech never set a backup. That took almost 12 hours to recover the database. Not a fun work day at all.

Ouch... No, that doesn't sound like a pleasant way to spend a day :/

Calm down. I'm sure he has a good reason.  Anyways he gives out much more than you think. I get 0.3 from him every month for my signature.

People, take this time to think a little about the situation. I know you are all thirsty for gambling all your precious faucet microbitcoins, but think about this for a moment.

All primedice managed to say at https://twitter.com/primedice was that Site is down temporarily. Working on getting it up soon.

If you had any experience with decent services and operators, you know there would be a much more detailed description of the situation. The most recent situation in the BTC land involved inputs.io, where no proper description was given either. TF was unaware (let's hope that is the case) that the attack actually happened 2 weeks ago. Why am I saying this ? Primedice obviously have no idea on how to run this properly, the site goes constantly offline, gets unresponsive, and so on. The reason for this downtime could be very simple ones, till more complex ones like losing data not backed up or (hopefully not) another server being compromised with players' funds gone. For now I assume this is all FUD from my part, but there is nothing else to do when the operator cannot even describe the issue and has shown incompetence several times.

Take some minutes to think to whom you are giving your money to, think about the quality provided. Do not get fooled by sock puppets.

In situations like these, transparency is the best medicine.
I would really appreciate if Stunna or another person affiliated with PrimeDice would just come and post here already, and tell us what is going on.
Saying that it's a database issue and everything is looking good doesn't ring true (an entire day after the site went offline) anymore.

Now, I only play very lightheartedly and PD is not getting rich off of me (I'd have to get rich first myself), but I think the site is fun to spend my lunchbreak on, and I enjoy the chatbox.

If the site has gone under, than please tell me, so I can stop checking and keeping a tab open in my browser.

Can you provide any details so we can know that you actually called cloudflare ? I have a hard time believing cloudflare would comply with requests from random phone calls.

Good to you know you are from San Francisco and close to Cloudflare at 665 3rd street #207, this might help people around here..

Anyway, here is what Cloudflare says:

We accept the following kinds of reports:

    Copyright infringement & DMCA violations
    Trademark infringement
    Child pornography
    Phishing & malware
    Violent threats

None of these are related to primedice. I am sure you can include the contents of your report.
