Some traders have no idea how to gamble and some gamblers have no idea how to trade. Just because someone is a whale doesn't automatically gaurantee they will be successful in either.
Most of the Bitcoin whales are early adopters who either GPU mined BTC in the early days or they invested a small amount which turned into a fortune back in 2010-2011 days.
New whales can occur more over time. Smart guys can come from zero to whales over years. Crypto is the perfect space to see self-made whales. They can become whales not only from their investment in cheap bitcoin during early days, but also can become whales from their investments in cheap altcoins in early days of those coins. Then, some day they cash out those altcoins and get massive bitcoin. On that day, they will suddenly become bitcoin whales. I agreed that not all whales traders gamble and not all whale gamblers trade, but there are some of them do both trading and gambling.

I don't think that playing Dice on Primedice or trading Bitcoin on Bitmex are fairly equal. Some will find one easier than the other and vice versa.
I think that they gamble on Primedice primarily for fun and don't think of anything when they lose their bets. And the whales that trade the markets they usually probably mostly hedge their Bitcoins. Basically selling when BTC hit $20K and started buying back at $3K and restart the cycle all over again.
Rich people or whales as they said, They only gamble in primedice or in other crypto supported casino for fun, Even if they lose. I think it's only a penny and not really risky for them.

Everyone has to care about money, even gamblers. Small or big gamblers, they all have to care about money used to bet. However, big gamblers usually feel less pressure with their bets (of course, if they don't all-in bets, with all their money), and big gamblers rarely use all their money to bet. Only small gamblers often fall into that trap, all-in bets, and their adrenaline rocket from seconds to seconds, their hearts bump intensively. Even they win with their all-in bets, it does not good for their healh condition in both short- and long-term. So, in my opinion, we should not use all of our money to bet. Take care of our money, and take care of our health conditions.
I don't agree with you, I think big gamblers do not care about money the way the small gamblers care about money. I mean after all they do care if the wager gets too much but the difference between small gamblers and big gamblers are a whole lot. I have met with people who use the faucets to follow on the promotions to make a bit of buck for themselves and get their money higher and than withdraw, that is the level of poverty in the world and in those people someone comes up and bets 10 bitcoin on 50% chance to get another 10 bitcoins and than we are saying they both care about money, well yeah they do but not the same amounts, one cares about losing 1000 satoshi while the other wouldn't want to lose 100 bitcoin, wildly different things. That is why we can't say its the same thing.

I think there are other ways as well to become a whale, such as hitting a big number on primedice which is the topic here, a whale could be made in many shape or form but I agree that it doesn't mean they know what they are doing. Of course there are whales who are really smart and totally deserve to be whale because they literally a self made whale but there could be lucky whales as well where they just happened to hit off big thanks to something, maybe a big dice roll, maybe early investment that they forgot and just remembered, there are many things they could potentially be whales for and that s why I am saying a whale could be anything, they could be smart or they could have no idea, it just depends on how they got to be a whale and not if they are whale or not.

The best way to become whales is winning big money on Primedice, then use most of those won money to invest, in bitcoin, or altcoins, then hold for months to take profits at double price compared to bought price. After taking profits, if winners still have big interest in dicing, they can allocate small amount of total money as budget for dicing on the site. They still enjoy their dice game, have fun time, and also have big money in their pockets. In my opinion, it is difficult to make a fortune from dice.

With lots of dice sites out there it means they feel they are making enough, maybe even a fortune. With excellent customer services, promotions and publicity there is no reason why dice sites cannot make a fortune.

It is obviously that if some day, someone are lucky enough to win big, a fortune will come to his or her balance. However, the point is "Easy comes, easy goes", as the saying goes, such fortune that comes easy might not last too long. It does not mean money can automatically dissappear after identified period, but the reason is people tend to don't know how to use those money appropriately. When they win big and easy, they tend to use it for non-sense things, and without serous thinking about purposes of their expenses. Then, months later, all money goes away.

I'm expecting more than those but a month long giveaways, I think they can stand with that promotion and generously going to give everyone a chance to be part of it. Still conditions can be applied if they want to, though stake's promotion is still active on telegram. Everyone can be updated with their telegram group. https://t.me/OfficialPrimedice
