Its great that you managed to make over 0.5 BTC which currently is valued at over $3600 but martingaling is very risky you need to keep in mind. Most people myself included basically went bust using that method.

I would basically have a very low basebet like 10000 sats and just use a bot that would martingale on a loss and it worked great for many weeks until it didn't. I think I hit like 13 or 14 losses in a row which I didn't think was possible and even with a small base bet of 10000 sats. After 14 losses that 1000 sat base bet becomes over 0.8 BTC which emptied my account at the time.  Basically I would need 1.6 BTC in my account to take the next bet to break-even but I didn't have that much at the time. This was back in 2014-2015 when BTC was only $200 so it wasn't a huge pill to swallow but I learnt my lessons from the dangers of martingale.

Either way good luck in your strategy but keep in mind that with a house edge that nothing is a full proof method.

@iamthewall congratulations on your winnings, and I’m surprised to know that you won using martingale strategies because those strategies are very risky. @adaseb you’re correct about martingale as I have read many sad tales of people who have lost lots of money using martingale strategy, hence I have always avoided it but after reading about @iamthewall winnings I’m tempted to give those strategies a shot.

You may wish to do the same as another winner. But bear in mind that the end result is just based on luck and when you decide to stop the game. The long term simulation of any "strategy" is a loss for the gambler mathematically which can be proven. The profit graph may go up at which point you have to cash out, but again the profit may never happen in case it can be a total loss.

Besides the maximum bet outcome is limited and martingale is based on the assumption that the bankroll of the player is infinite, which is not the case in reality.

I think you are confusing casinos with exchanges and trading the markets, the two are completely different.

When you are trading crypto or stock market or futures or forex those generally are considered zero-sum which means that for one person to make money someone else has to lose money. This is fairly typical what happens in crypto. Usually there are 10 whales which make all the money that 1000 retail traders lose.

In gambling you are not playing around other gamblers you are playing against the house edge. Your server, client and nonce is just based on your bets alone and its completely unrelated to someone else who is gambling on the same site. But the difference is that there is a house edge. So if you take 100 rolls you are only expected to win 49 times. And when you play more and more you will get more of these losses due to the house edge.
