Stunna, when you first designed PD, you haven't thought that a 32-bit number will one day be not big enough to store the bet ID, have you?  Can't say we did. I'd like to think there must be very few online casinos that have had to deal with an issue like this one  Thats a really nice achievement. 2.14 billion is a great amount of bets for the site. |

Youtube just had a similar problem. Gangnam Style had the same issue, it hit 2.147bn views and they had to update. Makes me think I should just start with 64 bit numbers...

I have been collecting stats for over a month and according to my graphs ( see here), yesterday there were the most number of bets (in those 33 days.) So it looks like the removal of old bets really made the website faster  ~30,896,994 bets yesterday, nice!  PS: the latest graph point is close to 0 because 6 Dec just started - EST timezone. |
