They turn in 20 shares before we even get one... and then only knows if its good or not. I still say stick with the pools because your odds are much better and getting some bits here and there over solo. You could mine for 3 hours get all excited about finding a block only for it to go stale. ^ I got 40% invalid; but around 60-70 shares got accepted. ATI 5770. It seems a common problem with P2P. Blastbob's first pool (CNC I think) had some problem where the top 10 or something like that got paid. Anyways no point wasting electricity on it. |

Fair point, although he did introduce a novel early adopter block reward system so people won't hurt too much when they see nothing but orphans. In the end though, I'm back to mining WDC.  |
