I can certainly tell you all that if the OP gives me 1k NBL that NBL will have a much better logo than WDC - and that seems to be the competition at the moment.
I wouldn’t dare ask for a donation – I’d rather the guys that got those 100k to share some love to benefit themselves , otherwise this will be a useless release.
and i'm happy for it to stay like that , unless i have over 5k of this eventually .
Then ask people who made 100K - because I'm not that guy. 3229.10NIB, 3.5Mhash here Nice I didn't get close to that with near the same hashrate

I find if I stop my miner and restart it. I find more blocks than if I let it run continuesly..
I do this sometimes too. Maybe if you left it, you would have gotten those blocks just as fast. You'll never know. tb

Penalizing early adopters? You think it will ever take off if you do that?
Good luck...
That's even Anathema to the bitcoin mantra

I mined for 10 hours now with 5 mHash/s
and got only 505 NIBs
:-/
better than me, did you go hand solo ? First 4 hours p2pool than 6 hours here: http://nbc.cryptcoins.netYou should have gone solo with 5Mhash. You should not get discourage with orphans and rejects early on. Let it run it's course and the blocks will come. I have over 3K with 4.5Mhash mining solo from the get-go. I normally join a pool when finding block time is more than two hours. tb ahhh the art of a seasoned miner - i was going to do that - and shoud have, also +1 to the restart , its wierd but sometimes works? I really shoud have solo from the start .

Setting up solo mining is much more complicated than any other form of mining.

Easy as pie. Actually faster than setting up a pool by the time you join add worker etc. Setting up solo mining is much more complicated than any other form of mining.

Yes, if you've done it before. ive got a handle on it now , i just need to find how to get the Scantime and expiry into a conf , but i ran it at the end of the CMD, and it worked. that's pretty key when diff is like 0.00023 or whatever.

ok ill help you, let me share my super secret commands lol heres my .bat file for cgminer cgminer.exe --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 19 -g 1 -o 127.0.0.1:8551 -u enterhere -p x -s 1 --expiry 1 --queue 0 -w 256 you will need to try different intensity to find one that works best, also thread concurrancy needs to be set correct for your gpu. if you are unsure about thread concurrancy remove that out of the above and let it decide it for itself. copy that into notepad, make sure to click saved file type as all files, saved it as nibble.bat place that into your cgminer folder. create a new notepad file and enter the following rpcuser=enterhere rpcpassword=x rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=8551 daemon=1 server=1 gen=0 testnet=0 listen=0 maxconnections=100 save that as nibble.conf again changethe file save type to all files. place this in c:\users\your profile\app data\roaming\nibble you might need to show hidden files in folder options in order to see the app data folder. open your nibble directory, c:\program files\nibble right click on nibble-qt and hit send to desktop. right click the shortcut you send to the desktop and at the end of the target field enter -server now simple double click that shortcut, and double click you nibble.bat file in your cgminer folder. enjoy Easy as pie. oh man, decided to let my old laptop do some work, getting around 11kh, got a block 20 seconds after I fired up the cpuminer , me likes
I wish I could have been so lucky. I ran an old laptop for solo mining all night and did not hit, but I'm going to let it keep running solo for a while to see if I get lucky. I'm in a pool with my desktop, so at least I'm getting something.

Pretty rough sketch of an idea I had. Nibble the symbol, no lettering. Kind of like Prince, except, you can pay for things with it (eventually?). Sorry about the rough edges on the diagonal. Wanted to get some feedback before its refined. Update: added second, similar style, N logo.

Yes, if you've done it before. nmap shows port open, port responds as intended (HTTP server) but logins fail. strange

well, this is just an other coin where only the big players with their mega hash rigs get anything.
last night i was mining for many hours with 200kH/s which is all my cpu+gpu does, i got nothing but orphans.
now i am contributing to a pool and got... 3 nibbles after many hours. 99% of the time i get LONGPOLL detected new block, sometimes a "boo" and almost never a "accepted: 1/1 (100.00%), 155.26 khash/s (yay!!!)"
i was happy at first somebody tried to make a coin that punishes the big players and early adopters but NOTHING has changed you need to have a few MHs or you are doomed with orphans, stales or what ever.
just an other BS coin... sorry
With yacoin at least i made a few 1000 coins but it used a different scypt where everyone even the bit players needed to start from scratch.
With every standard scrypt coin they just fire up their rig they already prepared before the announce and kill the fun for the little players.
