Uhhh, I downloaded the new client but it looks like somebody is messing with the blockchain....  It says out of sync and 341329 blocks remaining!

also mine did this - then fixed itself , we  think someone is trying to attack the blockchain ?

It happened again just now... stuck at 341313 remaining.

Back to normal (on its own). ~16000 blocks downloaded.

Isn't there any available scripts to make a gambling site?
That could be a nice thing to make the coin rolling hands Cheesy

Well, difficulty went down!  by a whopping .5!  Jeez.  Mining hashrate doubled.  Either more people realize this is going to worth a lot of money soon, or haters from another currency came in to raise the hashrate enough so difficulty stalled near 4.

Just keep mining for now, collect rewards, and then lets get listed on an exchange.

Same thing here. It corrects temporarily with app restart.
I read that this problem is happening with DigitalCoin client also.

Do you know what is the problem hyoshi?

All - This is a rogue node(s) trying to poison the network.  Nothing we can do about this.  It happens in all currencies when the hash rate is low (and someone actually tries).  If you look in your log files you will see IP
s being banned.

What they do is mine the blockchain offline, and then try to sync with the network.  Will never work unless they operate 50%+ of the nodes.

Let it keep running, it will clear itself up once the IP is forcibly disconnected.

yea see below...  I posted this once before or PM'd someone can't remember.  Its an attack someone is trying...  Until the hashrate goes up from more miners, and there are more nodes/clients it will likely happen.

Updated binaries available!  version 0.1.2/0.6.4.3 Added additional branding/logos on overview screen and "About Nibble" form, added block checkpoint, changed monetary units to NBL (goodbye NIB).

Why is the diff 4 with 80MH/s while WDC is 5 with 1400MH/s?
Worldcoin is completely different, and all of this factors in.  It comes down to, Nibble is 12.64 times rarer than Worldcoin

Number of  coins:

WDC 265,420,800     NBL 21,000,004

Block Time:

WDC 15sec             NBL 2.5 minutes

Difficulty Retarget 1920 blocks/8 hours   NBL  2016 blocks/2days

Reward:

WDC 32 units        NBL 50 units

Pool: next.afraid.org:8118 is updated, and take into account the changes available in the last nibble update.

Pool next.afraid.org:8118 is there and fully reliable.

{
"blocks" : 16526,
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 3.98655352,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"networkhashps" : 73741307,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

(16526/2016)= 8.197  (aka, 8 rounds...19.7% of the way through the current)

2016-(.197*2016) = 1618 blocks left...

https://www.litecoinpool.org/calc?hashrate=80000&difficulty=3.986  says 3 mins to block found on average.

3*1618=  4854 mins/60 mins/hr = 80.9 hrs/24 hrs/day = 3.37 days till next difficulty change.

Sorry, I was bored.
