There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Pool: next.afraid.org:8118 is updated, and take into account the changes available in the last nibble update.

Pool next.afraid.org:8118 is there and fully reliable.

Still available, and fully reliable.

Nibble is in need of trusted nodes in order to strengthen the security of the network.

If you are running a node for mining or other purposes, have a static IP, and can open/forward port 8550, please provide your IP address so I can build a list of trusted nodes to be added to nibble.conf, and eventually elsewhere.

All - instructions to follow on setting this in your conf file, but it is an simple as adding lines: addnode:[IP]

You may use this address: pool.1nusa.org, the port is open, and the daemon will be running indefinitely.

Still available, and fully reliable.

cgminer --scrypt -o next.afraid.org:8118 -u yourNBLaddress -p .  --queue 0 -s 1
cgminer --scrypt -o pool.1nusa.org:8118 -u yourNBLaddress -p .  --queue 0 -s 1

Statistics: http://next.afraid.org:8118http://pool.1nusa.org:8118

New pool added: pool.1nusa.org (Oregon USA).

These pools use a PPLNS payout scheme, and are stratum enabled. And are also connected and work together for better efficiency.

yeah but i'd say shoot for the medium term,  maybe do a 50 / 50 split hold 50% if i was you .

maybe trade 50 % if that's what you are into , we are not a spam, we did not pre-mine that is all established , i'm not getting rich , the Dev isn't either , we want to do something different.

so nibble is here to stay i can tell you , mine while it is low diff.

You have to edit or add a .conf file, e.g. under unix:

mkdir -p ~/.nibble/;cat >~/.nibble/nibble.conf <<EOF
server=1
rpcuser=nibblecoin
rpcpassword=YourPassword
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=18341
#addnode=machine...
EOF
chmod 600 ~/.nibble/nibble.conf;

This file is required, to setup a password and an user account. In that case the port is set to 18341.
