What are everybody’s thoughts on the future price of this? I’m a holder and will be keeping them as I think the company seems very solid.

Looks very promising, I bought some at 0.36 cents a few days ago, hold for the long term.

I'm not saying that the price won't go up, because even Dogecoin goes up from time to time.

But what would be the mechanism that is going to drive the market demand of this token?

Some good posts on this page alone.  I'm selling a few million smartcash trash coins since the devs are stealing people's coins and I'm looking to invest somewhere new.

Is this like bitconnect or other ponzi or like SALT token?

Someone please give me a quick summary of what ETHlend is and why it will go up

Very good point. Similar to SALT, this token is 100% unnecessary. https://twitter.com/KyleSamani/status/946709355898040320

Basically, what ETHLend offer is a decentralized lending from crypto to crypto (not crypto to fiat like SALT) that is secured with collateral in case of default lending. The token LEND themselves give some benefits to their holder on their app ecosystem like using the LEND token for collateral or giving 25% discount from the fee of lending or funding a loan request

First of all, there are two types of investing: Long holds- believing in the future impact and use of the company, and Short holds- attempting to play the market trends, extremely tough and volatile. It is possible to make a lot, but very possible to lose a lot. You seem to be a "wanna be" short term investor, but really you don't know who you are, because you are talking shit on the long term holders and a project that has already shown significant growth and will continue to do so.

In my opinion, look in the mirror. You are the only one to blame for your losses. I bought in at $.06 less than a month ago... EthLEND, you have some explaining to do...  Wink

I bought more ethlend than any token I own.  I'm really hoping its gets back on a rally, as my money is almost half, I bought at .36.  All my fault no-one to blame because I'm just gambling as I'm not an expert.  Whats a reasonable loss before I lose confidence?  Is the tokens application just undervalued or is this a sign that someones going to do it better?  I'm patient and comfortable with the loss, but still concerned.

How you will explain this grand failure?

If we speak honestly and fairly, almost every coin is falling down for the last two to three days, and we don't know when will the market recover, so I think demanding an explanation of a coin depreciation during a mass free fall is quite... well, unnecessary.

LEND has been falling even before the red days, yes, I am aware of that too, but IMO that's because of two rather unrelated situation that's unfortunately coincide with each other.

They were announcing the distribution date of bounty rewards last Sunday. I think, the price fall that happen before this... two damned days, was because the holders were afraid that there will be a mass dumping once the distribution began, with assumption that distribution will happen soon after the final announcement happened. Once it turned to be there still few weeks before the distribution (and thus, the predicted dumping day), the red days of crypto happened, so I think that's the most logical reason why their price is not recovering yet.

And may I point out that the price today is not even below the initial price weeks ago?

Good for you buying in at .06 - Just like everyone else in the world who bought Apple at $3 like me in 1995. Now you are only up 100% versus the 700% you were a week ago. I hope you were smart and sold at a 700% gain because I can give some lessons on money management to help a newbie out if you didn't. I don't need any lessons from a newbie I just need to vent. What I really need is an explanation from the company as to why the price was falling in advance and never bounced. Did you even watch the block sizes being sold before the correction? I am talking 500k blocks at a time every 50 sats down. Yes there is a distribution we knew of but not enough to warrant this kind of non-stop pre-selling.

I am concerned with the fragile newcomer to the market venturing away from Bitconnect and the like for the first time to buy a solid company with slim profits or credit cards. They bought the highs and they cannot afford to stay in crypto now. What I need to know is if I can still trust crypto - if it still serves the purpose for which it was intended - to bring bankers to their knees and beg the forgiveness of those who built their empires. If all of these companies are all part of the old system I can just go back to stacking physical and waiting for something else. I am getting tired of the mafia-type gov'ts telling me how I am allowed to use what I spent my own time earning!

Buy and Hodl Bitcoin.

The coin itself has no purpose except during the ICO. Why would it be in demand?

any news about EIDOO wallet-ethlend airdrop?

From medium:
"That said, the date when you will start to receive LEND tokens — if you are eligible for this purpose — is January 19th at 12 p.m. GMT."

They have started airdrop distribution but they said it will take weeks because of the congested network. I'm looking forward to receive my LEND  Grin

Who says that the token has got no use?  Huh It can be used as a collateral for lending purposes and they've hit quite an amount of shocking figures in the decentralized lending.

It just started two and a half hours ago, to be exact, at 12 GMT. While for bounty, it'll start on 31 of January.

And yes, they recover quite nicely, given that some alt is still trying to gets up.
