2 Months later.. And nothing. Reminder: I am within the first month of pre-orders and I am coming from an upgrade.
Now exactly 1 month later. And they are barely at the end of August orders while Jalapenos and Little Singles are way ahead. Reminder: I am within the first month of pre-orders and I am coming from an upgrade. This sucks. I am tired of hearing employees from BFL saying: "You obviously don't know how Bitcoin difficulty works" Implying that if they shipped on time, or delayed like they are now, profits would be the same. 1. They're not the only ones shipping ASICs 2. If we would have gotten our ASICs when the price of Bitcoins were going up Q1, we'd have a lot of earnings. 3. Bitcoin halving nears I have 2 Singles coming from an group-buy upgrade ordered July 15. I basically can't get a refund. I have had 2 dreams so far of my Asics coming in the mail. /Rant over

Public Service Announcement:If you have ordered from Butterfly Labs (BFL) and have not yet received your product, you are entitled to a refund whenever you request one (per FTC rules).
First ask Butterfly Labs (BFL) for one, they will probably say no but you might get lucky. If you ordered via PayPal you can file a complaint with them even if you are outside the 45 day window. One customer has already gotten a refund from PayPal that was outside the 45 days.
If you ordered via BTC or Bank wire, you can fill out a complaint with the FTC and they will advocate for you with Butterfly Labs (BFL) to get your refund. You can also contact the office of the Kansas Attorney General and inform them that you have had your money taken with no product delivered for months, just more promises.

Has anyone actually got a refund form a bank TX or BTC after they started shipping and took the no refunds route???
Just curious, Am sure your correct, they are outside the law by not honoring refunds, but getting refunded may take longer than getting product or bankruptcy (lets face it once the last order ships there business is toast).

Its hard to decide if take refund when you can receive the unit anytime. They should show the queue of order numbers + products they will ship

Thanks baloo, I had found it. Am really considering this now after the latest.. However there is still no comparable product off shelf so I may give it a few weeks. Must check out how bitfurys doing...

Not anytime. You can estimate time left by their shipping log https://forums.butterflylabs.com/blogs/bfl_jody/Order rate can be estimated from here http://bfl.ptz.ro/In my case the order was 3 months ahead of currently shipping order date, so I definitely couldn't get it 'anytime'.

Yes I feel like BFL has kept us on our toes about this "Anytime" for a long time.

Finally gave up and requested a refund. Oct 4th trade in for 60 GH unit. Since it was only ~$750 and I paid with PayPal, ROI was looking pretty good even with the delays. Now that I see how slow the singles are trickling out, I think I'd make a few hundred bucks, but not worth it any more. No way is that thing shipping out this month, much less the 30GH I ordered in April right before the price increase.

Like I posted in their forums: I'm not even slightly angry. If anything, I am dumbfounded. If you haven't been lying, then the only possible explanation is that you all have the worst luck any company could possibly have. Not a single thing has happened like you have planned.

Everything has been going according to plan. They have done very, very well for themselves. At your collective expense. BFL measures success by one metric, and it is "sales" made, NOT product delivered. You shouldn't be the slightest bit confused. But you should be angry.
