the easiest and safest way for the swap would it be to send the coins to bittrex?

THX

The way for the best success of a smooth transition to the new chain
would be to have some coins in your wallet staking and load the new wallet asap
soon as released and PoW and stake coins in it.

MikeMike

so I just send it from the old wallet to the new one?

No.
You load the new wallet.
move/copy-paste your wallet.dat from /korecoin to /kore and restart the new KORE wallet.
Done.

All my coins are on the bi-trex
Should I shoot them directly into the new wallet, or
a- wait for the Trex to do the swap
b- move to the old wallet, and do a manual swap

Thanks.

I cant make those decisions for you.
What I can tell you is the best way to support the swap is to have the new wallet loaded asap as we release the new wallet,
have some coins in the new wallet and mine and stake. This will ensure a strong new KORE Network.
To do this you would need some coins in the old wallet first.

https://www.coinpayments.net/vote

This would be very exciting to participate in and I would support it.

Will there be a phone app wallet? And paper wallet generator possibilities?

Thanks

Clear.
I want to help the network.
I'll put some coins in the old wallet, then generate the DAT file... then move to the NEW wallet...

The Rebranding also is a separation from the word "coin" in addition of the rest of
the rebranding which is more marketable to the general populations and in line
with the Freedom aspect of what the KORE Projects in KORE represent.
This will all become evident over time and might not be too long...

@Team: thank you for your fantastic work and the excellent communication about next steps.

One thing I still would like to know is how many Kore for a masternode? We are less than 3 days from the release of a new wallet and the volatility has not been low lately (to put it nicely). I know it's my money and my responsibility, but I'd really like to know how many Kore I will need to either buy dips, sell tops or keep hodling. I would appreciate some prior notice lest I get caught in a draw-down or a parabolic rise, depending on the MN number.

If I read the introduction of this thread right: "The first wallet release is going to introduce Masternodes to the Kore community.", we are 2.5 days from the masternode feature. I am sure the math is hammered out at this point and the number is set in stone.

So, please either tell us or at least tell us why you keep avoiding telling us. I would be much more at ease if it's simply "we keep you in the dark because we need everyone to stake coins, so we want to avoid people selling". Or something like that.

TIA.

They said it will be announced with the incoming releases....at least we know it's between 400 - 600 so i'm happy with that info already. be patient, support the network and wait for 2 days is my recommendation Wink and remember its not always about prices & numbers..sometimes the purpose is much more powerful  Cool

The amount of coins needed for a Masternode will be announced at the wallet release.
There is no ulterior motive. What I can tell you is it will be between 400 - 600.
