hahaha, here comes the anger fud from that beto clown.

He's just pissed because the wallet was released and all is good.

Keep fudding monkey, you make accumulation that much easier.

It's guys like cryptobeto and those that follow his instructions that have made crypto trading so profitable I am literally putting a down payment on a brand new 4 person plane in November.

All new traders beware of and/or learn how to profit from these obvious attempts at market manipulation.

I seen, this coin trading from 2014.. But thread started in August this year only. Why?
Seems, this may be like Monero... May I know, who developing this coin?  Huh

1) Monero sucks and is heavily manipulated in the markets.

2) New ann for swap and rebrand

3) you may know as much as you would like, start here(old ann): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=668886.0 then here(new ann): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2096416.0

4) also website: https://www.kore.life/

Also, tbh I was looking at Spectre but the fact that there is a signature campaign is worrying. I mean ICO and sig campaign on btcTalk...
FFS buy the coins you believe in and dont be a sig prostitute. Nobody pays me for my sig.
And why on their webpage does the ceo look a bit like Eddie Haskell?

Sorry for sarcasm, its a Monday.

Job#1 is to secure the new small KORE network and chain by staking coins.

Masternodes up are also to secure network and to test.
Once all is good we will be promoting Masternodes.

Whats going on with the prices? After a fast pump the prices go down again...
I believe in this project, but this prices are really depressive.  Huh

It was probably some frustrated holders that had their coins stuck in their wallets for the last couple of weeks. Personally id rather see the back of any holders that are that quick to ditch their holdings once good news arrives.

It is about the Tech. Not the price.
Plenty of scam coins and scam ICOs you can play with.
Do we care about price? Sure but it is more about
getting these technologies out there, in the hands of the masses and easy to use.

Trying to stake some coins.

Added staking=1, unlocked wallet, does it take long for the icon in the corner to change to staking?

Does staking provide rewards now? or it is only for support of the network?

What is the min age and max age for POS?

I have installed the boost dependencies (libboost-all-dev)  like given in MikeMike's post. Anyone got an idea?

Upgrade to at least boost 1.57.0
There are issues with boost 1.55.0

I have my Kore on my old kore wallet on OSX, what's the safest way to transfer that onto the new wallet? Download the new PC wallet and send it or send it to bittrex?

Bittrex is setup to work with the new KORE wallet and not the old Korecoin wallet, so trying to send those coins to bittrex will likely result in you losing those coins. You need to download the new wallet and follow the instructions. its pretty simple to do if you follow those instructions.

Delete the folders "blocks" "chainstates" and "backups" then start the wallet with -reindex. That should do it.

Matrix

Whats -reindex

This comment concerns me as you have 500+ posts and are advertising for something crypto in your avatar

In windows after shift right click choose "open cmd window here" > type "kore-qt -reindex. This will rebuild blockchain index from current blk000.dat files on startup.

First time setting up wallet.  I entered listen=0 and staking=1 in conf file.  Deleted folders mentioned above.  I am not sure what you mean "In windows after? shift right click choose "open cmd window here"....Shift Right Click does nothing.

just noticed something that wasn't mentioned on the ann thread or the change list between coins.

https://i.snag.gy/9voFmc.jpg

so now a fixed percent of all our stakes now go as a donation?
shouldn't this field be optional rather than forcing it on everyone without any notice.
