Indeed, a few months ago the situation at which the price of the token fell after ICO was typical. But now the society has become more trusted in the crypto and new projects, that is why the price of the token is often significantly increased after ICO.

Tokens which starts up very costly and racks up big market cap by ICO price tends to do this at times. Best be buying small market cap tokens they have the best potentials😎

The project itself and the product itself stimulates the growth of coins, if it is not, then people do not see in it the potential or not the product is not a product.

You should study first the token ,the dev team, white paper and roadmap. Ofcourse if your sure about that token invest what you can afford to lose or invest and forget hehehe. Some of the investors that is their real plan/game they invest at ico then drop the price down and newbies are very weakhands they sell their coin too until it reach the deep and thats the time whales buy back their coin and accumulate more tokens from it. It should have a very smart developer and the developer should get the trust and hope of the investors.

I also noticed that this always happens. Probably at the time of ICO, the prices for tokens are too high. And after the start of sales, people understand that a coin can not be sold at such a price

The project with the good development team can make its token valuable after it was launched to the exchanges. But the main reason for the price fall when it listed on exchange is due to everyone want to sell their tokens so the demand decreases and supply decreases which means price also decreases. So all the investors of a token are responsible for the price fall after the ICO.
But some tokens have great value even after listed on exchanges this is due to investors really trusting that coin and maybe have great usability in future.

Token price do fall after ICO because dumpers and those people give bouns  sell price when it hit exchange. Only a smart and good investors will keep the token till the price moon.

Have there been any tokens where the trading price on exchanges at the very start fell considerably below the ICO price and has not recovered?
Normally ICO's two best parts are what they offer, and how much have been invested in them. Many ICO's token price falls after they have been online, some recover other won't. We have to be careful reading about the ICO's and what they offer. Sometimes it's what they offer that makes the ICO last longer.

Calm down even though trading on the stock at the very beginning fell below the price of ICO, after which will definitely recover.
Like Monaco, etc. So have to be patient of course

This happens mainly in the ICO, when some unscrupulous investors sell their assets shortly after the ICO.

Anything can happen, is where cryptocurrency after the ico itself naturally falls and where it is specially speculate. But normal coins still grow after falling several times.

Yes, it happens, but it is rather an exception to the rules. As a rule, if the token is listed on the exchange, then its price grows, each token has its own rates, but there is growth or stagnation, if the token fell below the ICO price and is not recovered for a long time, it means a failed ICO

It's actually happened a lot. The only reason many ICO tokens are now trading above their initial listing price is simply because of Bitcoin value going up so much. But if you look at how most people entered ICOs, that is through Bitcoin price, and most tokens are STILL below the price people invested. In other words, if they had simply held their Bitcoins and bought tokens AFTER they were listed, they would have had a lot more tokens. Same with ETH and that's why you see a lot of people regretting ICOs.

MCO (Mona.co) was temporary below ICO price for a long week before it go more than 200% above ICO price.
TFL (TrueFlip.io) that is just listed since 48H on his first exchange (HitBTC) is still below the ICO price of 0.0005 BTC

I'm sure the later will recover and go way above that, but still it's painful to be part of an ICO and experience that.

I saw CTR and GVT also went down below ICO price and then it went up very strong. I think one of many reason is these coins had been sold by member who joined bounty campaign, they ready sold it with low price to get real money. But for the good project, we needn't worry this because its price will soon recovery.

It is quite normal to have prices that falls after ICO. It really depends on a few things, the exchange strategy by the token developers, "whales" who are holding a significant amount of tokens and the current market as a whole upon listing.
One such coin that fell after ICO and has not actually been up to expectations is MTH (Monetha). And they actually sold out their ICO within few minutes.

A lot depends on how the team will work on the development of its project.  If it continues to promote the project and be interested, then the price of tokens will grow.

Of course it was, this is generally a trend now. Bancor is a vivid example. Now it is more profitable to buy immediately after the completion of the ISO and the exit of the coin to the exchange, coins that immediately show the profit is now a rarity
