Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Token price do fall after ICO because dumpers and bounty hunters sell price when it hit exchange. Best be buying small market cap tokens they have the best potentials.

In fact, the price depends more on the trend of the whole market. If the ICO is taking place in a falling market, the price will not drop only for super projects. If the ICO is taking place in a growing market, then the price will rise even for shitcoins.

Most of the coin price drops after entering stocks largely because of the large number of coins sold by the holders of coin bounty results but after that it will rise again and stabilize.
whether we better not invest and wait to enter the exchange, I think it is wrong perception because with the inves we will menadapatkan bonus from sale or purchase and usually; we inves will get the coins first before bounty pendistibusian and this tends to the price of stable coin on the stock when we sell right then and there
It just common for this thing to happen where when a certain coin launch on exchanges it do really dump most of the time i have seen lots of coins on having this kind of price behavior which it even goes lower beyond pre-sale price because people do easily take profits specially on investors where profit taking is there but some do hold up and let those dumpers release those tokens and later on buyback for making the coin progress into its actual trend.

Indeed, only good project will able to withstand those kind of situations of sudden dump after launching on new exchange.Profit taking is normal which all of ico investors is aiming since the very first place.Bounty hunters is always there because each project do have this kind of program where individuals can earn free coins and dump it for profits.Rinse and repeat for making money.

Have there been any tokens where the trading price on exchanges at the very start fell considerably below the ICO price and has not recovered?
It is common to have a dump after ICO because of the two factors which is the investors during pre-sale where the bonus is quite high and dump by bounty hunters because they get their coins free so its not hard for them or it will not hurt them if they sell their coin below ICO price, i'm not sure though if there is an ICO that didn't recover since i haven't experience one yet.

Oh, of course there are! The thing is that normally those stories don´t get posted on the forum and the like, but have no doubt, scams are out there and they fall hard.

That is happening actually because there are scams project that would manipulate the price to do an exit pump.
Be careful when investing in ICO, make sure you did give time to study before pulling the trigger as you might lose in the end as scam ICOs will not
give you a chance to recover especially if you are holding it for long term, you will end up a bag holder.

This is the usual case, because if after a lot of finished ICO directly in a hurry to sell tokens they have and eventually result in the token price fall.

People who buy during ICO sometimes have discount, or in need of liquidity. Ideally, one should buy and hold till the price stabilizes for few months after listing in exchange.

Token price often fall after ICO.

Because some people have many bonus token will sell to take money soon.

When dev team have some signal about their project, token price will raise.

I also take a similar strategy - buying the tokens after the ICO if they fall. To do this, just keep track price interesting token on ICO and the price of the token on the exchange. Such tokens are many. I use the website https://coinmarketcap.com

Exactly, if the project seems to be very interesting and we miss the ICO means just wait for listing because after listing sometime the price may drop compared to ICO and it is going to be the best time for buying because sooner the price will increase in the market.

if you did not overlooked price average calculation for token/coin as opening price in exchange, @lythanbinh has got 1 of the main factor addressed on why token value drops after ico is completed.

HUGE MULTIPLE SELL ORDERS AT START OF EXCHANGE
1. Almost all crowdsale uses early adopters reward method to entice public interest immediately after it is launched. Be it in the form of bonus or discount, the 1st few buyers would have acquired the asset at low and cheap price per unit.
2. As early adopter, they are also the longest holder of the said token - taking every imaginable risks that the ico is not just another scam.
3. This would explain why most tokens price drops after ico ended, there will be huge sell orders by most early adopters as soon as it hits the exchange regardless of future potential spike in price.
4. Profit from the bet they took, is then used to buy in another ico at entry stage.

TOKEN HAS VERY LIMITED OR EVEN ZERO USE-CASE TO SUSTAIN ITS VALUE
1. This usually happens when we get excited at recent hype in town + failed to see the what the project is all about, what it is for to reflect its actual value
2. Always look for ico that has good use-case, especially when it involves new market approach rather than going after projects that has existing competition or limited expansion field to grow

And last but not least, price effect always is dev game. Watch news and announcement to stay ahead of game.
I quote this from Rohan Agarwal.. very exciting how he puts it :

Lot of monkeys lived near a village.

One day a merchant came to the village to buy these monkeys!

He announced that he will buy the monkeys @ $100 each.

The villagers thought that this man is mad.

They thought how can somebody buy stray monkeys at $100 each?

Still, some people caught some monkeys and gave it to this merchant and he gave $100 for each monkey.

This news spread like wildfire and people caught monkeys and sold it to the merchant.

After a few days, the merchant announced that he will buy monkeys @ 200 each.

The lazy villagers also ran around to catch the remaining monkeys!

They sold the remaining monkeys @ 200 each.

Then the merchant announced that he will buy monkeys @ 500 each!

The villagers start to lose sleep! ... They caught six or seven monkeys, which was all that was left and got 500 each.

The villagers were waiting anxiously for the next announcement.

Then the merchant announced that he is going home for a week. And when he returns, he will buy monkeys @ 1000 each!

He asked his employee to take care of the monkeys he bought. He was alone taking care of all the monkeys in a cage.

The merchant went home.

The villagers were very sad as there were no more monkeys left for them to sell it at $1000 each.☹

Then the employee told them that he will sell some monkeys @ 700 each secretly.

This news spread like fire. Since the merchant buys monkey @ 1000 each, there is a 300 profit for each monkey.

The next day, villagers made a queue near the monkey cage.

The employee sold all the monkeys at 700 each. The rich bought monkeys in big lots. The poor borrowed money from money lenders and also bought monkeys!

The villagers took care of their monkeys & waited for the merchant to return.

But nobody came! ... Then they ran to the employee...

But he has already left too !

The villagers then realised that they have bought the useless stray monkeys @ 700 each and unable to sell them!

The cryptos are next monkey business.

It will make a lot of people bankrupt and a few people filthy rich in this monkey business.

Could it be a good strategy to purchase after an ICO? i.e. do most coins/tokens fall initially?  Probably worth doing some investigation (or has this already been done)  I'd imagine a lot of post ICO prices fall as investors/bounty hunters sell for a small profit - especially ICO's where investors have received a bonus.   Would be interesting to see the figures on this.

Token price can fall after ICO dramatically and is is a normal situation, please dont panic and keep calm. The price on ICO can be overstated, and market  will show a fair price. But further development of the project it is a key to higher price and financial sucsess for investors.

I often see that after ICO the price of the token goes up. Especially if it is a good and in demand project. Now a lot of such projects.
