Running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Masternode works fine. Here are the payouts:

Everything works fine. If someone can not configure this is not a project problem, the system works stably !!! and the price to enter the project is very sweet! thats bullshit.. i run masternodes from other coins with no problem and here i have watchdog expired and no payouts since 10 days.. for no other coin i know you need sentinel and mnchecker It is weird that this extra software was necessary all of a sudden. Did some spork get activated to cause everything to drop out? Anyway it was pretty easy to fix with the right sentinel code and my nodes have been running great ever since.

Would you mind giving me more detailed explanation about the relationship between INNOVA, VIVO, and VIOG, please. Thank you.
Well, Vivo and Innova are solid coins with great communities, decent featuresets and promising roadmaps. VIOG is a shitcoin, plain and simple.

I think there should be a feature that will give benefits for those who hold coin longer, thus preventing from hoping from one MN coin to another/ And the coin that implement that feature first - will greatly increase lifetime

I assume you're thinking of turning Vivo into a hybrid POW/POS coin. There are hybrid POW/POS+MN coins out there. Not all of them are great, though.
I don't think POS will really do anything for Vivo. I think there's a belief out there that Vivo is merely a poor man's Dash. So Vivo must become more than that - must aspire to more than that.

There are more profitable MN coins. People are shifting to them and looking to get better profit.

Vivo is a far better MN than many out there. Surely many would come back to Vivo, as those who are dumping, there are folks waiting to get the MN's for very cheap price and they would grab those opportunities with both hands.

is there a way to mine solo? i ry it but miner shows JSON-RPC fail: method not found....what that meens? Because its a DASH clone you can unfortunately not solomine this coin. Unlike Dash's X11, VIVO uses the hashing algorithm NeoScrypt which you can definitely solo mine, especially since it is ASIC Resistant. Download and run any of the miners linked in the ANN. Good afternoon, is VIVO resistant to ASIC's so it can be mined by both CPU's and GPU's, or does the "Hash NeoScrypt" algorithm have any blocking only for CPU's or GPU's?

In logfile "sentinel-cron.log" I often get error "Unable to submit: Object creation rate limit exceeded" - how to fix it? normal command "venv/bin/python bin/sentinel.py" when issued manually returns no output
Updated: I just tried again manually and the same message came even from the manual command! Later 20 times - all normal it seems like this error happens after a certain wait time
Me too. I was fully enabled then this Are you running on Linux? I'm having this problem too. I'm running Ubuntu 16.04. My cron is set up correctly (see below), yet I keep getting "Watchdog expired" and in the sentinel log the same "Unable to submit: Object creation rate limit exceeded". Sentinel is doing my head in! # m h dom mon dow command */5 * * * * cd /opt/vivomn/home/vivomn/.vivo/sentinel && ./venv/bin/python bin/sentinel.py >> vivo-sentinel-cron.log 2>&1

It is asic-resistant, but neoscrypt is (generally) not profitable to mine with CPU. Consider it a GPU-only coin, for all intents and purposes.

Well this is pretty dire for Vivo:
Total masternode count: 581
Masternode count qualify: 479
Masternode count enabled: 35
I believe that last figure are the actual working MNs which are getting rewards. Mine isn't one of them

I believe that last figure are the actual working MNs which are getting rewards. Mine isn't one of them I don't think you're interpreting that correctly. It probably means the number of nodes that have been enabled (i.e., transitioned from pre-enabled to enabled) since the last update or something. According to the block explorer, there are 495 MNs currently online. This would generate two rewards every ~35 hours on average. That means you could reasonably go 70+ hours without a reward within the margin of error. As long as your node is enabled and online, you will get your rewards. Just gotta be patient.

Mine is finally working without the dreaded "Watchdow_Expired" error. Hopefully I'll finally get rewards again after almost 2 weeks of getting nothing. Interestingly, the figures this morning are rather different: Total masternode count: 587
Masternode count qualify: 465
Masternode count enabled: 494

Good to see price recover to over 3$, for the price of 5 more MN we can get to over 40k sat! As soon dev show us uniqu sentinel that will save so many nerves and time to unexperienced users, so we will have more holders here!

Well, it seems I spoke too soon. After about 10-11 hours it has gone back to the watchdog_expired status.
I think that this is almost certainly a network/wallet issue as the total number of enabled MNs has fallen again:
Total masternode count: 586
Masternode count qualify: 481
Masternode count enabled: 59

That only seems to give the first two figures, not the enabled number. Try "masternode count", "masternode count qualify" and "masternode count enabled" at various times in the Vivo console.
