Question from an eth/pos/smart-contracts newbie: how much GAS/ETH do I need into an address capable of mining about ~1.2 POS as stated by the official calculator in order to do the minting once by following the above guide? Thank you. -- edit: sorry, I see this question has been made a million times, but didn't catch up with all the replies. Gonna try to go backwards now 200000 (200k) gas limit is preferred when you mine. And to mine send 0 amount of PoS to your own address with gas price 1 gwei (just to minimize costs) and gas limit to 200000 (200k) I don't know how much it counts to usd but it must be some cents, so couple dollars would float boat for couple weeks This is surely profitable since mining cost would be some cents while you will earn 1.2 PoS (around 1$ at current price)

In other words, if I start using 1 gwei for all my eth transactions, will the miners still mine them? With 1 gwei even 200k gas will be cheap

I sold my PoS because there would be depreciation against the BTC! If I want to participate in the distribution, can I still buy hundreds of PoS? Congratulations on being at Coinexchange!
I am also thinking of buying more at exchanges so I can have more tokens during the next coming airdrop. I haven't sold anything yet because PosToken is yet to reach its full potential soon.

Thank you very much for your answers ! Just a question I have my POS on a Metamask wallet I can't use mint function on it but if I transfer my POS on another ETH wallet on myetherwallet I lose my coinage what do you guys suggest ? you can send some pos to your own address and you will get minted tokens. Thank you very much. I followed the instruction reported on page 309 and it worked perfectly

Step-by-Step Tutorial to PoSToken PoS Mining - Fast & Easy
not work - EXPECTED REWARD 0.00000000 POS "not work" is wrong statement it just means you have to wait a bit more before minting - min is 3 days. noted

Everytime you do minting, your coinage will be reset 0. You have to wait 3 more days, re-check your coinage in calculator, and do it again. It's likely claim your stake every 3 days

I don't know if I done it right. I made the transaction with 200000 gas and after clicking 'generate' , I saw the bottom part of that window pop 'out & in' and after that nothing happens, no confirmation, no error.
So i don't know if I done it right. Don't know if I need to do it again or wait. Can someone confirm this is normal or otherwise comment on this?
Thank you.
EDIT: I don't see a transaction on etherscan so I guess it failed?
EDIT 2: nevermind, i 'screenshat' the popping window and it was in fact the button to confirm, don't know why it did that. but transaction generated!
