All we've been hearing is a community take over but do we have an applicable technical guy here who have a high interest on continuing the PoSToken project?
If there is, I could at least give my hand on web development/web designing, though I'm not familiar on ethereum contract coding.

"community takeover" is a nice concept, but unless there are tech guys in the community which get involved and they know what they are doing, "community takeover" is only a mantra which gets repeated hoping that the mere act of repeating it would be sufficient to do the miracle of resurrecting a dying project. Without some serious tech guy getting on board, any "community takeover" is just a tribal dance around the fire where the project is burning, in the hope that the dance alone will do the mircale.

Really nice metaphor there. I am of similar mind regarding community takeover. It is all well on paper but reality is that things get done much faster and better if you have a guy in charge and able development team under his payroll.

I think one lesson that can be learned from this is that any project that depends on one person is a bad project given the single point of failure. We have to remember that an advantage of blockchain technology is its distributed nature, so we must ask about the checks and balances when investing time or money in a project. In future cases, there should be assurances of a team or at least another person to take over if the primary person disappears. Besides abandonment, a developer can disappear due to an accident or death. There should be someone to take over. That, in hindsight, is the biggest lesson here.

Yeah you have a good point. I have learnt my lesson. A one man dev team is not a good idea to invest in. A solid project should have many devs and better if they are known and not anonymous.

I really loved the idea of a PoS token, an ERC20 token that can earn interests, gains which are naturally proportional to the amount invested (you buy coin/token, instead of buying an expensive mining machine).

It would be nice if the dev of PoStoken would come back and be active on his own project, it WAS a great idea.

1) We can start posting announcements about our problem in suitable sections for this, in this forum. (lack of developer on the ethereum smart)
And also you can start writing it in social networks.
We have a huge community, we can do it.

2)Priority should be the return of tokens from the credit platform, at the expense of the owners, ie the transactions will be paid by us.

The funding its. you can get from the alocation of total supply. If you really a good person can handle this and making a POSTOKE 2.0 make swap its can be happen. Replace old market and add new contrace on CE nad other platform exchange

Would be nice if at least POStoken 2.0 were a swap so that people who invested at first do not lose out; also an actual desktop wallet where you can run the POS staking would be nice - would we have to load the whole bloated eth blockchain to run a PoStoken 2.0 wallet?

Also I recommend a PoS algorithm similar to the Bullion coin (CBX), they have the PoSP algo where only participants to securing the network get rewarded (allowing better income for participants as they also get the rewards from non-active wallets), I think this is how PoS should be. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=951753.0
