I think it would be great if you could pay your Taxi-drive with Bitcoin! U agree with me?

could pay taxi fees using bitcoin is very cool dude also as users of bitcoin it will be more easier because we just send some satoshi from our wallet (mobile wallet more simple, perhaps) to taxi driver 's address. but in the other hand you are not only pay taxi fare but also bitcoin transactions fee. it will make you spend more little bit. more over the transaction need 3 confirmation to complete the transaction.

It would be great because if you run out of cash and what you only have is your phone.  You can pay the cab with bitcoins.  As for me, I will not use my bitcoin for the ride because I am saving it in much more important thing. 

Yeah like your said, it will good when the price of Bitcoin stable and transaction fees high like now. If you want to purchase taxi, I think you should use FIAT because it faster than Bitcoin about time confirm transaction.

Yes your right that it would be great if taxi's would accept bitcoin as payment because if you ran out a cash on your wallet you could only send your bitcoin to the driver without converting it into cash. But it will be much better if not only in taxis we can pay our bitcoin, but in all stores can accept our bitcoins as payment.

good idea I also think like that. why not all use bitcoin, but this is more practical and simple very good concept. but in various countries have started doing it as restaurants start receiving bitcoin payouts. I hope all countries can follow.

Although it is easier but seeing the current price and transaction fee for sending bitcoin is very high, I think one would think better to use fiat because there is no additional cost charged to him.

I like this idea. But i don't think its worth it for low paying process.you have to apply fees for every transation.But if you Pay Big like 100$ or 200$ then bitcoin should applied.Use bitcoins Only for big transations, maybe taxi fares in bitcoin is not feasible at the moment with high tx fee.

I don't think that it is possible in real life as bitcoin transactions take a very long time in getting confirmations so there would not be any other way to pay for taxi with bitcoin.

In my country there are one taxi company which accepts bitcoin - it's Jazzexpress. They started to accept btc in 2013

Also, I know one individual taxi driver who accepts bitcoin. But he said that so far any customers hasn't paid with bitcoins.
And honestly, I'm not sure that this is best way to spend our hard earned bitcoins :/

may be  in some places like japan and Brazil there you may find some taxis who may already accept bitcoin, but unfortunately in my area still there is still not a single shop or any other place where we can use bitcoin for shopping, to me i personally can only use it for online purpose while still cannot use it in offline shops.

I think Uber should add bitcoin as a payment method since it gains more and more popular between students.
I think all the companies that dont add bitcoin as a payment method is because they are afraid of its price because it is not stable.

I think that's not practical for now because it's much faster to pay fiat money than bitcoins as your payment for taxi fee.

There are many requirements needed to make btc as an acceptable payment:
   *All Taxi drivers must have an Internet connection to make it possible.
   *All taxis must have a computer system for this transaction to make it more convenient for the passengers and the driver to transact.
   *Both party (the passenger and the driver) must have a smartphone and a knowledge about bitcoins.

If you will compute the time this kind of transaction takes, it's slower compare in using fiat money where you only need to get your money inside your purse, pay it to the driver, and get off the car. But Btc still have bright potentials for the advancement of our technology in the future.

For emergency yes it can be more profitable cause we dont know if we can have some emergency because we cant even knkw how about if someone stole your wallet. But if you have cash you can now paid it by cash i am agree for bitcoin for taxi but not all the time.

maybe some ICO can do that. with token platform base on ETH transaction can confirm quicly than use bitcoin. Or you can checkout some card ICO like Centra, Moneco ...

Can happen if the taxi is booked online, and the taxi company should build a sophisticated system to pay for service with Bitcoin. But will not it be difficult to determine the price of a taxi to see BItcoin price fluctuations.

for now it is not practical to pay your taxi using BTC because of the high transaction costs. Maybe altcoin with low cost would be useful here

BTC doesn't fit for small payments today
The fees are too high currently and the confirmation can take hours.

Same with me, its just a waste of money and time seeing that you are using your bitcoin in small payments.

I agree if bitcoin can be applied in taxi payments, so we can do various transactions in many countries easily. no need to swap currencies and also avail the exchange fee. with bitcoin we can pay instantly and also fast. we just have to have an important idea for the owners of taxi companies in many countries. this will make all transactions can be centralized and also taxi users directly pay taxi fees to the company. one alternative is the company provides a single wallet address that is synchronized with android-based taxi applications provided by the company.

in my opinion it's not a good system if when we ride a taxi and we pay using a bitcoin system. With such a system is certainly difficult to implement because the price of the bitcoin is constantly changing and it could benefit one party only

it is not that practical and not convinient just to pay in taxi and scanners that taxi drivers attached is costly i guess
