Agree with your point of view, Bitcoin is just a profitable investment, but as a payment method it is not suitable because of its price volatility, rising imagination, transfer fees are expensive, no fool would pay in such a currency .

I think that's a nice idea. But now with high transaction fees of bitcoin, it is still impractical. Only if transaction fees could be lessen then that would be a great idea. There are still many things bitcoin has to go through to be used for small daily transactions. But it would be really good if that time will come. And I think that's possible in the near future.  But when it comes to long term investment stuff, bitcoin is really good.

Bitcoin as a payment for taxi-fee wouldnt be that great as Bitcoin's prixe weren't still stable and might drastically fall. Yet it would be nice if it canbe a mode of payment but if it would have its stable price.

It's a very good idea to many people who always ride in taxi everyday. Because you cannot carry to much money to paid in taxi, just only in BTC wallet. So you can use your cash in other way, like foods and clothes.

I will not use her to pay a taxi because transaction fee is her main problem, I think bitcoin is better suited for exchange or in made as cash and in use for, big enough transaction, I would rather pay taxi using cash like that I used to do it and it gets faster and wastes no time for transactions, because it pays with bitcoin I think it will make it more complicated

I agree with you I think to pay a taxi as good as we use fiat currency only. and of course if using bitcoin this will only reduce the value of asetbitcoin that we have just because I prefer to store bitcoin as an investment asset than used for a transaction. so if doing a transaction I prefer to use fiat currency.

seems less suitable for now, just imagine if we pay with btc while the issued fee is greater than the amount we have to pay to the taxi. not to mention the slow confirmation of the transaction, in my opinion this is not yet efficient.

For now, I don't agree on that because there will be a transaction fee, another expenditure. I still prefer paying fiat for a taxi. Better use Bitcoin in investing and paying large amount. In our country this is far from possible because only few people knows about bitcoin. There are very few establishments that accepts bitcoin as a payment. And our taxi's are not equipped to accepts such payments.

I don't really agree, because I think bitcoin is a valuable asset. it is very unfortunate if used to pay services that we can pay with fiat money. maybe I agree if for other crypto cheaper and more efficient in transaction costs.

I agree with you , but it has disadvantage and advantage of it. I think in the near future bitcoin is a new currency so I think it will implement around the world. And for the taxis I think this would be great because they can invest through bitcoin to have a better future.

Some day it might be used for these purposes also. But right now I do not think any of the drivers and the car rent companies will risk taking payment in Bitcoin. They do not like to risk, and they cannot leave any chance to the situation when they lose if BTC falls.

Exactly, because bitcoin got supply limit circulated around the world and its not like paper money which has been printed everyday. Bitcoin is more like asset, perhaps it can be used more to buy luxurious items or other assets such as property, i think some altcoins might be having the idea for using their coins / tokens for common uses but not bitcoin. However being used in common payment such as this kind of thing can boost the popularity of cryptocurrency

You shouldn't be so short-sighted. More people have got to realise that it's precisely the small, every day things that people transact in Bitcoin for that gives Bitcoin value. If people didn't buy pizza with it years ago, if I didn't use it to pay for hosting fees or domain registrations. If people don't offer to pay taxi fares in Bitcoin, and everyone holds, gathers and hoards, then you're only relying on new buyers to sell it to, banking on scarcity. And you'll get a currency whose only volume exists on trading market, with no one using it for its actual purpose. If that's all you want, there are plenty of altcoins out there doing precisely this.

Of course, it's good to hold something you believe in, for your own financial security hopefully. But don't be afraid to use it, in fact, I encourage you to use it. You'll feel much better down the line, knowing you helped bring Bitcoin to where it will be simply by using it.
