Why are there so many orphan blocks atm?

it's not just orphans, the blocks mining looks like a runaway train...blocks are coming about 1 second apart!!! something is hosed.

Not good...especially on the same day LindaX is supposed to go live !!!!

lindax is life, presale already started

where at? Lindx.network still has a countdown for another 90 minutes

nevermind...found it...
for those interested, register at www.mynodepool.com , deposit some Linda (or BTC and then exchange it on the site), and you can use it to buy LindaX at a 100% bonus during pre-sale.

LINDA COIN IS DEAD. LINDA COIN IS DEAD. LINDA COIN IS DEAD. The programmers are non existent on this forum so it shows the coin is only for their free earning potential from coins they gave themselves.  The linda coin mining pools are all down or , worse, the linda coin mining pools don't give you any coins. hash-to-coins.com fucked me out of 100,000 coins yesterday - and they were all confirmed. the hobbyist mining site shows me having 20 machines with 50+ to 60+ blocks found on each over the last 14 hours and I got not 1 single LINDA COIN whatsoever.
i advise - do not waste your time on linda coin like i did getting nothing from this linda coin scam.

The programmers are non existent on this forum

Cheesy Try Discord you plonker: https://discord.gg/gyfGdBP

This forum is very dated and clunky. A lot of crypto developers and communities have moved to Discord.

Linda development is VERY active, and the development team and community are very active and responsive in Discord. Most user questions get answered in Discord within a few minutes.

I lost some LINDA on H2C as well...but the problem is not LINDA...the problem is H2C is still on v2 of the wallet, whereas LINDA network had a mandatory upgrade to v3 (you can see their wallet info by clicking on the LINDA ticker).

It's H2C's fault for not upgrading their wallet, but LINDA also is partly to blame for not advertising the upgrade and letting all their mining pools know.

I only found out by accident by clicking the wallet download link on LINDA's website. It was announced on Discord, but I only saw it after I went looking for it after coming across the new wallet on the website download, but that's not enough as not everyone is signed up with Discord, nor logs in often, nor wants to create yet another account and password with yet another site.

It should have been announced repeatedly on this thread and as a new thread...I was the first to post the news here a few posts back...that should not be...LINDA's community / PR manager should make sure to disseminate this extremely critical update information in every venue and outlet possible to make sure nobody gets left behind.

I am seeing this issue even after downloading with the Boostrap and starting over.

Anyone know if / how this can be fixed? I see it back even years ago with Bitcoin and Doge same ORPHAN BLOCK 751 issue

I can't get the chain to download at all now that I've updated to 2, is there a bootstrap?

All I get for days now is:

try to re-sync your wallet, (be sure to have backup always before re-sync)
if you are getting so many orphan blocks, you might be on wrong chain or faulty database which will end up in being bands by nodes

backup your wallet, delete all data, restore the wallet.dat, re-sync all wallet, if you have MN, setup that again afterward
your problem will be solved in 99% of situations on all chains, not linda alone

I did a fresh install of the wallet and now I have like 4-5 months  of transactions that are now listed as "generated but not accepted mined"
Will those transactions come back or did I lose all those coins trying to update the wallet?

it looks like you were on a fork, not the real LINDA chain. If you were on a version less than v2 (which was a hard fork, ie new blocks are not compatible with old ones), then those coins are invalid, whether you had updated your wallet or not. Had you tried to send them anywhere your transaction would have failed.

Now we are on v3 (which is also a hard fork, but a poorly publicized one), and anyone still on v2 will likewise be on a fork and will lose any coins generated after block 585200

Guys, the best place to keep up-to-date and get help with your wallet issues is Discord: https://discord.gg/gyfGdBP

Almost nobody posts here anymore. Linda is very active on Discord, with hundreds of posts every hour and lots of developer participation.

as long as you had them before the fork you can still use them, but with the new wallet. Save your wallet.dat file somewhere safe (you should always have offline backups anyway, eg on a USB stick that you keep in a safe location, fireproof lockbox, etc). Then install new wallet, run it and let it sync to the blockchain (might take a few days and a few lockups...there are links to a bootstrap on github to get you farther along). Then shut down the wallet, replace the wallet.dat created by the new wallet with the old one you had saved, and restart the wallet. Your coins should show up. Provided you still know the password (assuming you had the wallet encrypted) you can send these coins, stake them, or just hold on to them.
