Where are LINDA devs?

Here: https://discord.gg/gyfGdBP

The devs and support team hang out in the Linda Discord channel, which is VERY active, with individual discussion threads for developments, masternodes, staking, support, etc.

I'm not a big fan of Discord myself but I have to admit, as an environment for multi-threaded active discussions and support, it is much more suitable than a clunky old forum.

I try to keep this thread updated by relaying some of the project highlights when I can, but pretty much everyone else just posts in Discord now.

Hey admin,
I run the latest version Lindad, download from https://github.com/TheLindaProjectInc/Linda/releases
Cannot connect to any remote node, is there a remote nodes list that I need to add to Linda.conf?

I believe there's a simple fix for that but, again, it would be best to ask the devs/support team in Discord: https://discord.gg/gyfGdBP

Hi,

Just looked at link from first page https://github.com/Lindacoin/Linda/releases <- WARNING - DO NOT USE THIS LINK!

No releases since April this year (over 6 months). There is no development taking place since April?

That's the wrong Github page!  Shocked

When dealing with cryptocurrencies ALWAYS make sure you follow official up-to-date links and information. Please edit your post above and replace/remove the Github link.

The official website is here: https://lindacoin.com/
(which can be confirmed on CMC, if you're in any doubt)

On the official website, you'll find links to the current Github release page: https://github.com/TheLindaProjectInc/Linda/releases
(currently we're at wallet version 3.1.0.1)

Linda development is VERY active. However, like a lot of crypto development now, that activity is not reflected here on the bitcointalk forums. Unfortunately, old-school forums such as these no longer meet the needs of such an active community, one that demands a multithreaded live-discussion environment, with a modern mobile-friendly interface. Don't get me wrong; I like the BCT forums, and they still have their place as a central point for announcements and general crypto discussions, but they cannot provide the necessary structure that an active development team and community requires. For these reasons, the Linda development team and community chose to move to Discord some time ago, where you will find very active support and frequent project announcements: https://discord.gg/gyfGdBP

I figured it out myself couple of minutes later. I left that post intentionally!
This first post in this thread is being abandoned! LINDA team should really update their links! Users who come here from Coinmarketcap or other places are being misinformed.

I understand what you said, that dev team does not have time to look on these forums here, but this is bare minimum - you either maintain first post with accurate information, so people are NOT being misinformed, or you delete this thread and move everything elsewhere.

I agree. Personally I think it would be best to delete this thread since it is no longer relevant and difficult to keep maintained. I'll leave the devs a message in Discord and let them know about the outdated info so that they can decide what to do.
