Does anyone have a reason why Soma is getting so little volume on Cryptopia trades? Seems to me a good exchange where to trade it...
SOMA is an utility token and for the moment there is no way of using this token. We now have our beta app running on our testnetwork but the token can be used for real in Q1 2019 when we launch our pilot program for luxury watches.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Opinion as a trader like myself, I choose to hold SCT on my private wallet because SCT is currently undervalued, thus trading them would rather discouraging. It'll grow, though.

This did not happen to SOMA, but almost all cryptocurrencies, the condition of the market that was still red would certainly be a factor that made the market very difficult, for me keep SOMA up to the long term was a good and profitable option.

I guess that is the most likely strategy that SCT token holders are doing and everybody is waiting for the main event which is the launching of its platform and the only recourse is to hold it until the price becomes ripe.

I'm asking why it has such a low volume on cyptopia, but I should add that according to coinmarketcap it has a huge volume on Latoken, like 96,57% of the whole volume ATM. But why this? By the way, I barely know Latoken.

On LAToken we have an ETH pair. Cryptopia only has a BTC pair for SCT tokens. LAToken is a great exchanges, we had a meeting the founders and supporting their future vision. There are so many exchanges out there, not possible to know all of them.

You can download the beta app on Google play, read all about it in this article: https://medium.com/@soma_sct/soma-mvp-launch-83a1a3aca6f8Yes it will be possible to buy the watches with SCT tokens, SCT tokens can also be used for promoting your items on the platform. Why only watches: We were looking for a niche market to test our pilot program and protocol. The luxury watchindustry is great for our pilot. After this pilot we will focus on other markets. Remember: this is just the start! We start small with the focus on luxury watches and then we will expand!

Would you consider high-end bags and shoes after this? As we know, there are lots of spi-offs for luxury bags and shoes, this probably can be an appealing factor if SOMA can facilitate someone who look for a second hand branded goods without the worry of fake products

Sure! We are open for all kind of goods in the luxury market. During this pilot project we will analyse all kind of markets for the next step. Any suggestions are welcome!

Maybe the owners of tokens just do not hurry to sell them

By the way, I barely know Latoken. I see only fake volume. Nobody buys this token, the team creates the appearance of bidding. I only see how the team throws out hundreds of thousands of tokens every month. They washed 1 million volume, but the price did not increase a cent))) Volume of 1 million dollars but the capitalization of 500 thousand dollars)) Then they do the same with the purchase. They make fake volumes for more than two months and you can see this on CMC. I see the real price and volume only on cryptopia Do they think hamsters will pull the price up? I think that a large speculator will not push the price up, because the team sends hundreds of thousands of tokens to its partners every month. Why would a big speculator take this blow? Too many tokens holding a few people. Why should a big speculator create conditions for good sales for them!?

SCT tokens will be one of the payments. Other currencies will also be added on the platform

Dont be mad at us during these bear markets DenysM. Sorry if your investment didnt go 20x or 100x. We are working hard and soon we will have more news. First you talk about SOMA being the next pump and now you are telling we are lairs and manipulating the markets? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3027211.0ARCHIVE: http://web.archive.org/web/20181106204941/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3027211.0http://web.archive.org/web/20181106205028/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3027211.20Also doing this in the Russian thread? Soon you will see your returns in better market conditions and when we release our pilot project. SOMA's approach is that we are not a cryptocurrency but rather a tech startup. Yes, we have an internal currency, but that's not even the most exciting aspect. It's just a tool to drive the overall ecosystem. One component.
We know that our SCT holders are primarily interested in the token and its value, but hear us out. Most tokens have zero value. People just don't realize it yet. SCT will have zero value if we don't build a business model that catches on. And if we do build a business model that catches on, SCT will have tremendous value because of its constrained supply.
SOMA is holding large amounts of SCT strategically to distribute to partners. This is part of our growth strategy. In the long run, what's good for SOMA is good for investors. Most tokens will go to zero because they won't find adoption. SOMA is already finding adoption, and this distribution strategy is a key part of our roadmap forward.

good progress team, does this mean that Soma will partnering with IKEA? if this happens, will it allow customers to buy furniture using SCT tokens, or they just want to use the solution owned by Soma? Soma has shown its performance and has had a good product, so I think now we only need the best exchange to make SCT value grow
