There it's written that the launch of the platform is scheduled for April 2019: 'SOMA’s going live in April 2019 with our partners in the luxury watch industry. These include microbrands, retailers, and influencer'

So if the initial plan was Q1 2019, April would only be a minor delay.

I also noticed it. Hard to tell if this only a small pump or if the price can keep recovering. But if you consider that Soma is still not even in the top 1000 on CMC and that the platform is supposed to launch already next month, I'd say that a price increase would be really justified.

I would assume some people tried to do the PnD, given its relatively low supply on exchange. I have my tokens locked on private wallet, as I assume how lots of other holders too, which really made soma prone to volatility. A surge of interest upon launch will hopefully help solving this case

No one wants to buy/sell this token. There are 2.6 million tokens on cryptopies and until this exchange opens, no one will pull the price up. On latoken no liquidity and trading. This exchange is washing up the volume. I am surprised why you do not see it!? On this exchange, there were never purchase orders for 0.00021 ETH. If you pay attention then the maximum is 0.00016 eth. The exchange artificially shows a rise in price, but there are no buy orders. I do not know how to explain this to you because English is not my native language.


The difference between buying and selling is doubled. The exchange buys orders from itself by 0.000011btc and thus shows that the price is rising. The next day they sell at 0.000005 and show that the price falls. Bring volume to more than 50 thousand dollars so that this token was shown on the CMC by the Gainers & Losers


But if we look here we will see that there are no transactions.

I only see someone collecting 1.3 token from different wallets. Probably when the team handed out free coins someone registered several hundred wallets and now collects all the coins in one wallet

It seems that there is a trading robot there and making fake volumes this is the way to get  volume and place in coinmarketcap
I always avoid tokens that use this method

There will be only watches or some other goods? I think the audience of users who want to buy watches is not big. You must have some other goods.

I love the  fact that soma is striking a partnership deal with utrust. That will go a long way to boast their credibility. They can also get more partners to futher boast their credibility

Yes, there will be other goods once they manage to establish their name. Their initial aim was to act as a social marketplace, so there will be other products as well. I am not sure I remember correctly, but I think there was a discussion that they'll also add what community suggested, like high-end sneakers, branded bags, etc.

It looks like the team is going a good job in the real world. Any idea when SOMA is going to go beyond watches to the next stage?

After our pilot project we will go beyond watches.
During our pilot we will be focussing a part of our business development team to other luxury brands.

Where is SOMA at this moment:
- We started with our Cohort 1 onboarding (first 100 users on our platform)
- They start buying watches next week, after Cohort 1 there will be Cohort 2 (500 users)
- We have +150 brands signed, included some big premium watch brands
- Our waiting list for joining the platform is now +11000 users

We are not focussing on the crypto market for the moment, so no marketing there.

and in my opinion what needs to be underlined is that for now the SOMA team is not focused on the crypto market
