Excellent article on institutional money and what we are expecting and how long it will take. Those two main parts of custody and regulations are well explained and have importance in order to see that money coming practically in this space. Also obstacles and issues plus maturity of this market everything has been so clear that I also began to think the way is still long not or weeks. I appreciate such informative article.

We shouldn’t be surprised by this timeline, its inevitable large financial institutions are hesitant to entertain this asset class; this is the first asset class in decades that has started with retail investors and ended with financial institutions and as of now client demand has not created any kind of a mandate for custody to be developed. Even so, if large financial firms are to jump into this space then effectively they could be validating the assets and protocols that were designed to disintermediate them — this will likely harm their future business. Those that decide to take on the risk and evolve as ‘crypto friendly’ will be attracted by how much large players in crypto trading have been able to make since inception with the likes of Binance, Huobi, Bitmex and Okex all expected to generate over $500 million in annual revenue this year.

...I agree with you that the current sharpe.fund page is not good enough to show a transparent view of our capitalisation all of the time (especially whilst implementing a diverse asset management strategy). Moving forward it will be updated once per week, with an accurate representation of the total fund size - we're already working on updates this week.

Hey there skrtel37, you can see in the roadmap that the iOS app is planned to release in August of this year. There have been no indications that this is delayed.
