I transferred 200waves from bittrex to binance 12 hours ago, nowhere to be seen, hope it stays safe
What was your reason for transferring Waves from one exchange to another? Prices and volume on both exchanges are pretty close to the same. Twelve hours is too long for any cryptocurrency transfer, especially Waves. Look up the transaction to see if your Waves arrived to the recipient address.

On average a Waves transaction take a few seconds. Binance waits for 10 confirms, so 10 minute maximum.

I guess he was gonna doing arbitrage from bittrex to the binance. But this time binance has 2x volume than bittrex exchange site and that makes sense if someone tries to take an advantage from a little gap of these exchange sites. But what a horrible blockchain, up to 12 hours and nothing delivered. Just doin wavesexplorer and it will be appearing i suppose.

I’ve noticed a lot of people saying that Waves is the next Ethereum. Do you guys really think it has the potential to surpass ETH? Why? I ask because I’ve always thought ETH was a really good investment and a really solid project, but now I am thinking of branching out and investing in Waves.
There's no need to be the next Ethereum or be better than Ethereum, it's important to do things different than Ethereum and attract new startups, companies, customers and create an easy and cheap to use platform. The Waves platform needs no "gas" for their smart contracts, so it's cheap. The Waves platform has Waves-NG that scales up to 1000tx/s, so it's fast. The Waves platform has a wallet with integrated exchange (DEX) for all the tokens, so it's a complete ecosystem. The Waves platform is helping startups and companies with both ICO's and regulation around it, so it's easy for them to join Waves. Which will be the distinctive features of Waves' smart contracts versus Ethereum's smart contracts? Which functions will be better and which will be worse?

To nickel and dime a project like Waves is not a good strategy. Arbitrage trading works best when you have bitcoins and the altcoins on both exchanges, you can sell on one and buy on the other immediately. To wait for the transaction and confirmations to go through, you might miss out on the opportunity and end up with less Waves.

So far, I think it is a contender. From everything I've read, Waves is a project that actually delivers what they say they will. Not only that, but they have a token creation system, decentralized exchange and smart contracts. I’m not sure what else you can ask for in a project.

Where can we find a list of all the tokens built on Waves? I'm curious to see how many people are building on it and what types of projects they are creating.

dont forget, Q2 2018, smart contract release... (ride, and ride on)
I'm still riding on. I have been with waves and keep on buying every dip we can never have enough but I stopped buying because I'm just going to hold it for now. Waiting for smart contracts because when this happen, WE might be seeing a lot more trader moving to the DEX.

I think yes, in the future will many traders moves to the waves DEX, due to it has good concept in our trading activities in digital coins than traditional platform for trading especially for the progress of waves, i have found something interesting information about the reasons dex is good can be checked on this link, https://blog.wavesplatform.com/why-is-the-waves-dex-so-awesome-12b789d8c515 i don't want make speculation about the price, let me know about your though. Thanks Nice article. What I still didn't understand is how it's technically working, as it regards the currencies other than Waves which can be held on the DEX. Are they real or are they just token which represent the real coins? Where are their private keys stored? It is really a trustless system?

Waves makes up half of Tidex's total market.

Does anyone know if maintenance is complete? I know they said operations were to be suspended for a couple of hours, but I am not sure if it's back up again. I ask because I'm not sure how long this typically takes with Waves.

It is deep questions about the system of waves platform and your question is too technically, unfortunately i am not the programmers or developers so i am not sure about it, i think it is must answered by the developer of team, i don't want make speculation about it due to it can gives wrong information.
