Cheap coins! LOL.  I love people that dump for next to nothing.  That's where the money is made.

Its funny how everyone is saying its too cheap and so on. Why would this coin even be worth anything at all? It has no usability whatsoever, just like every other alt-coin.

However i would of course also like if it had value as i had 10k mined but i sold it cheap. I think the price will follow the price of wdc.

insta dumped on cryptsy, to the point that it's less profitable to mine than ltc. Seems to be the way of all the new coins
As much as I would like to make some profit from my coins, I think this is a good thing in the long run. The reason why we have all the spam coins is that they sell for a high price the first few hours. But really, why would it be more profitable to mine a new coin than an old and proven one? New coins should be cheap since their only value is that they might one day increase in price. This should cause spam coin developers to spend more time thinking about how it can be a good coin in the long run (though I suspect most of them will just stop making coins since they lack the required skills).

I thought people mined this just for the lulz, without really expecting to earn anything...

If an alt-coin adds an important feature above what the current coins do, it will have a hard time being accepted and gaining value... if instead it adds nothing... what were you thinking?!?

I just added it to CoinChoose and looks to be around 40 - 50% of the profitability of mining straight BTC.  Which, actually, given the pump-and-dumps happening, is not a bad thing at all.

I'm mainly mining this one to learn the ins and outs of mining. If it becomes valuable beyond knowledge gained, cool. If not, I'm having fun and learning new things. I figure with a name like Lucky Coin, it's gotta be mainly for fun anyway. Right? right.

Pool  http://next.afraid.org:8116 fully operational and ready for a load increase.

cgminer --scrypt -o next.afraid.org:8116 -u yourLKYaddress -p . --queue 0 -s 1

statistics available here: http://next.afraid.org:8116. This pool uses a PPLNS payout scheme, and is stratum enabled. The PPLNS window is set to only one hour. You will get the expected payout without having to wait 24h without switching off your hardware.

If your are looking for a Pool. This one is operational and fully reliable.

Wrong. People who dump for next to nothing should be rounded up and shot.

Probably. OTOH, bullets ain't cheap anymore. Perhaps a rope?

Just because a few people are dumping for cheap doesn't mean that's what the value is.  Look at the volume of the dumps, they are for small amounts compared to the amount that has been mined already.  Let them dump, people will buy them up and hold them.
