I am often late from work due to gambling. Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling?   

There was one time that I played poker after work, I went out from work at 11 pm and played until the morning. I only won $200 from that and I was able to sleep at 7 am. I forgot to say that we were drinking while playing poker so the next day I wasn't able to go to work. I was suspended for a week because of that.

200$ is a good amount, But it will not cover the possible salary that you missed for a week suspension. hahaha. Anyway, Gambling during midnight especially when you are enjoying is very addictive, You will never notice the time you consume on gambling that's why I always avoiding to gamble during midnight and just sleep instead. Work is my top priority because it was a sure and fixed income.

i don't lose my time at school because i gamble , and i don't think that you could lose too . but the thing that i'm certainly sure is the wasting of your focusing on the thing that you do , for exemple you will be thinking all the time about the gambling and you feel empty without gambling

Unfortunately I have to give the affirmative answer to this question. Like you I also sometimes late from work because of gambling. And sometimes I even gamble during my work which is risky because you can get fired for doing things like that in working hours. I finished school long time ago, but actually I think I have to learn a lot of stuff still, so in a way gambling is distracting me from learning useful things too. I plan to limit the time I spend on gambling to 1 hour per day, otherwise I think it's unhealthy.

I have experienced things like this, but not very often. I spent too much time playing at one of the gambling sites and well till i forget about other work or other activities i had to do. I think this is an accident to me that sometimes happens, and i don't realize, maybe this is the seed of the addiction for me who hasn't felt addiction of gambling. I didn't get late from my job because of gambling but most of the time I regret wasting my precious time doing nothing. However, I have skipped my lunch and dinners at times but now I gamble very less as I used to once.

just glad to hear that , as once you do crossed the limit like ignore everything that actually pretty important . late come to work or even skip the work day, that is terrible , you have a very high level of addiction , and need to be solved asap otherwise your whole life could be ruined.

Nope. I never did experience that I lose time from work or school due to gambling because honestly, I don't play gambling. Being late in coming to school or work just because of gamble is not good because people will always think when you arrive late again that you also came from gamble club. So, it might put your reputation at risk in your workplace or in school.

You shouldn't give more priority in gambling because your work is very important and it provide you money for living. What if you lose your job because of your vices? Where can you get sources of money for living, like that you are using for your fun gamblings. Think it so deeply and don't just let the advises passed through your ears, be responsible and make a stand as mature person. There's no future in gambling, but rather work can give you sustainable and profitable future,  so have a focus on work and less with gambling.

I'm sure no one would be addicted to gambling if everyone did what you did. Limit time to gamble, and discipline do it any results obtained. If we are lucky we will benefit, and if we are not lucky we are losses.

In my opinion you will only lose time because of gambling when you are addicted to it or you really don't have a job or you don't go to school, or it is really your goal the whole day when you wake up.

Oh good thing you'd be able to stop your gambling addiction. I have a friend that continue being like that and he still not yet learned his lesson even he almost lose his family and he's totally fucked up. He can't work for a living and still rely on his parent's money. This really pissed me off like he can't get a life for god's sake.
As for me, didn't experience this yet as I can control and manage my time and I know my priorities as well.

I loss so much time from work because I love to gambler all the time, that was when I was new in gambling and I bet in sports betting both live and none live. I feel like the thrill is always in me when I constantly check the price and I didn't notice I loss concentration with my job anymore.

Sometimes I bet from my work place if there is an upcoming game that I need to bet on.
It doesn't necessary mean that I do it on working times, I just do it for few minutes, because I won't have time to place the bet on the game once I return home.

I think that if you are betting and watching the games(because you had a bet going on the sports game) on time you consider important, you should stop gambling as gambling should not waste important time from you life.

I appreciate the honesty you people have shown in this matter. This is the reason why I condemn gambling because it is not a useful act. It not only wastes our time but also takes extra time that was supposed to be spending in doing a meaningful work. Indeed, gambling is destructive.

You should try best to avoid gambling as much s you can. Are you crazy? You are putting your job and career on risk just because of this disease called gambling. Just stop this nonsense or consult some doctor in order to divert mind when you have strong urge for gambling.
