If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die?

I would not want Bitcoin or any other altcoins; especially the promising ones to die. I really hope they all survive for a long long time as I can in them the possibility of being the future we are all looking forward to

In place of bitcoin will come another crypto currency, and maybe several at once. Altcoins will not go anywhere. Ecosystem crypto currency will exist without bitcoin

This is my pont of view.
First it is hard for me to believe that bitcoin may die.
Probably it would only decrease in value but will not really die or be out of the cryptocurrency.  And one of possible reason is when people change their preference to bitcoin and decided to invest on different altcoins,  therefore when this happens altcoins will prosper instead of dying.  And i believe this is very possible that one day there may be other altcoin in their that may take the lead position in cryptocurrency.

In my opinion, it'll never happen because all coins have differences and it will depend on the reasons why bitcoin died. If that happened, many people will lose their faith in other cryptos and it will have an impact but an only little. People will be affected if they didn't know how the market works. I believe ETH will take that place of BTC for being the no.1 cryptocurrency. We can't predict the market because everything is possible.

If bitcoin dies then altcoins will also die. Bitcoin will only die if there are no investors anymore and if it losses its popularity. But i don't think it would happen since nowadays, bitcoin is very in demand and popular.

The entire digital currency is able to work and exist offline. Therefore, if suddenly bitcoin decides to rest and leave for a while on vacation, nothing terrible should happen. It is even interesting how the price of altcoyins will be formed if bitcoin in this plan does not dictate its terms. For the time being I do not even understand why altcoyins can not now have their pricing policy and why everything has stopped because of the drop in the bitcoin rate.

this is not necessarily. because it could be overtaking Bitcoin Altcoin. but the chances are small enough. and by seeing the development of all coin, death will not come. because each development team will attempt to restore their situation.

yes,if btc die,altcoin also die because btc is leader of wholer market,btc increase or decrease also strong affect to all coin,if btc  fall to 1000 usd maybe market crypto will broken
