Well! If bitcoin dies, then nobody can save the crypto world from its end. Bitcoin is like God of crypto, like people god's. If people stop believe in god and think god is die, then world also die. Some people's thinking that ETH will take place of Bitcoin, but it's just thinking not reality. We all know where is ETH and Where is Bitcoin. Nobody can take place of Bitcoin according to me!

If bitcoin falls further, it will eventually open the way to even more altcoins to dominate the crypto space.
It is known that the split between a minority of bitcoin core developers and more practical supporters like Roger Ver has caused a lot of problems for the bitcoin brand and its usability, since the currency is the way down compared to last year, regardless of the reasons. This is part of why altcoins got such a citadel and captured a huge portion of the total marketshare, whereas it used to be bitcoin, was overwhelmingly dominated, but these hierarchies, as with all early tech ventures, can change quickly

Bitcoin and altcoins are different from each other, if Bitcoin dies I don't think altcoin will die too. But I think the price of altcoins will start to drop; but it won't die. Dropping is hust a part of all coins.

I believe that if Bitcoin sieze to exist that will not mean the end of altcoins. There are really cool projects, which have a huge growth potential.

I agree with you. Maybe there are factors that Bitcoin will affect the value of altcoins once it dies. Somehow, when Bitcoin dies, the price of altcoins will get lower but it won't die. It is just the changes of value.

No, I don't think altcoins will die. If there is a sophisticated idea and codes behind the crypto, why would it die? Bitcoin is only one of the variants - the most trusted though. Still, crypto community have other options to choose from.
For me altcoins has a chance to die when bitcoin dies, because many people in this world will afraid now to invest there money in cryptocurrency if they will knew that the best cryptocurrency bitcoin dies, so in that way altcoins will start to dump its price and maybe will die too.

to make the dead bitcoin very hard. but if that happens I think it will not make altcoin die. because there are still many other coins that can replace bitcoin in the future. it may happen if bitcoin begins to give a dead signal. I think that can replace the future of bitcoin is ETH which has a good concept and future.

Probably, yes. Though altcoins are different currencies and of different technologies, they all lean on bitcoin. Together with the fact that bitcoin is a leading currency and the one on top and hardly beaten, if bitcoin dies, so does the other currencies.

It may ve because of the reason behind bitcoin's death that will causw the death of other alts. Take note that bitcoin is a crypto and so are other coins or alts. It is unlikely for a very tragic event to happen that will cause the end of the crypto technology because of the improvement of the whole technology itself also the improvement of developers which enhance the algorithms of which cryptos are based. For anyone to kill this technology, he has to totally stop all the transactions and the creation of new algorithms for the crypto tech.

if we imagine too many bad things about bitcoin investing then we will not get a chance to benefit from bitcoin because we would not dare to start this business so I think bitcoin will still last for a long time

There is a big possibility that if bitcoin dies, altcoins also die. It is because when it comes to cryptocurrencies, the term bitcoin is always associated. Bitcoin is the backbone. But there is also a possibility that other altcoins can endure such incident since there are also some that have solid senior investors/supporters like ethereum, etc.

that's a fuzzy thing, because Bitcoin is now very populous and it's even more exciting .. but when btc is dead it's not going to lose altcoins. Altcoins have their own arm.

I think altcoins will take role bitcoin as parent cryptocurrency
there are some altcoins that have near-bitcoin popularity
and cryptocurrency continue to exist

With the existence of multiple altcoins in market... most of them are doing pretty well on their own. So if(which is not possible) Bitcoin is out of existence, altcoins won't be affected eventually there will be one that will rise and dominate the market like Bitcoin did. Like Etherium for instance and many others.

i might says that bitcoin are the gold of cryptocurrencies, i think bitcoin is hard to take down from the cryptocurrencies ecosystem, even more i think cryptocurrencies are depend on it, so bitcoin can die but it must be very hard to find the reasons now, so i guess we can not over thinking about bitcoin lifetime. IMHO.

Couple of years ago, it would have been hard to think of cryptos without Bitcoin. But presently there are so many Bitcoin forks and other altcoin projects that the crypto sector is not dependent upon Bitcoin too much.

It might depend on the reason why Bitcoin can die. In case when the death is due to total ban of Bitcoin as done by all governments or regimes then there is a possibility that Bitcoin death can also mean the death of altcoins. Now, if the reason can be other than that or it is within Bitcoin like losing the appeal from the market then there is a possibility that another coin can rise up to take the vacuum of leadership.

I think bitcoin will probably always be king, and ethereum will likely be in the top 3. I don't think you could ever completely ban bitcoin without banning crypto which seems impossible.

yes, if it really ahppenm bitcoin dies, then all the price of all altcoins will drop too and lead to the end of altcoins era, it will be gameover, but i think altcoin will last longer about 10-15 years ahead , even the price will rise again soon
