This is a serious discussion. I mean, after I've seen how bitcoin (and other cryptos as well) got dumped badly after an irrelevant law that makes ICOs illegal. I can only imagine now what would happen If more countries do the same thing and It could get worst by make itself bitcoin illegal. Whether we like to admit it or not, most of people would sell everything they have once its made illegal, some may continue to fight the central banking but the sad reality is that as soon as people start making profits, they will dump it and move on.

I think this is unlikely and will not happen because we are headed to a digital world, and bitcoin is a digital currency that can be used for the future and nobody can master bitcoin even the government or international bank also can not master bitcoin

If they want they cannot ban the Bitcoin now because Bitcoin is technology based currency and many people are supporting the Bitcoin for better results.
Right now for governments, it is not possible to ban the Bitcoin because without governments involvement the value is kept increasing in the market.
Yes,  no one can stop bitcoin.  Government can try,  but they are always fail. Their inability to control bitcoin networks scares the heck of them, so they make terrifies regulators. The underlying records of the transactions are copied all over the internet. Some government try to make bitcoin price fall but we saw this almost immidiatelly rally back to new highs.

I don't think that government able to control bitcoin because it is decentralized but market mess will be created over and over against bitcoin and alternative coins .

Panic in the market is created by those people who do not want to believe that bitcoin is a very strong coin. With every minor news, they begin to panic. I think that the government has no way to ban bitcoins

Jamie Dimon taken as a recent example. His bashing did not really caused a panic, but his origins are to be considered.
Goverments are overated in a globalized society. Corporations expanded into the scale of countries. There are banks of that size.

A goverment has ruling limits documented by their constitution. Any of the other players of compareable sizes are not limited by something even similar. I think they are the real thread. And those got a lever into politics by lobbying, bribery or other means.
I don’t so because still the governments have no control over bitcoin because of decentralization. They can just ban the trade in bitcoin like China. But as we see that now China is also has a soft corner for bitcoin and may they legalize bitcoin in the near future. The statement of a single person should not be taken seriously. It is his personal opinion and not the voice of all the people around the world.
Government can only stop bitcoin in their country if they have any kind of control over bitcoin. Since bitcoin is decentralized in nature, so the government has nothing to do with stopping of bitcoin. Like you said, government can only ban using of bitcoin in their country but that is also not possible as the people are earning very good amount of profit from bitcoin which is making the economy of their country better.

Not really because if government can stop bitcoin it should be from the very start when an operation has made. Somehow governments are wise to give their support to bitcoin but at the same time they don't really accept it officially in our society. They may control the flow of bitcoin's rate hence, they can't totally omit bitcoin because it is getting stronger. Certainly, many researchers of bitcoin who are protecting behind them so that nothing will happen eventhough it is controlled. The only reason why governments keep on stopping bitcoin is the chance that people will be more provided for themselves financially and I think it isn't fair. Governments should support all people's aim so that we help each other more to build a better country someday and stopping bitcoin won't help us to develop our economy into a successful and good economic rate.

Why should be stopped, whereas bitcoin is a potential to improve the economic growth of a country, especially if the government is able to make regulations about bitcoin surely the country will get a new tax source of bitcoin that can be used to build the country.

I think would be next to.impossible to block.crypto entirely no matter what governments do. They may put restrictions but people, smart people that is, will always find a way. And there are also a lot of countries in support of btc and crypto so there's a solid support there

Governments can try to stop Bitcoin but they will never be able to stop Bitcoin. Bitcoin was created by math and coding, which is a language. You cannot stop these things.

Does the government can block the internet site? Just like in China, facebook was banned. I think the government of a certain country can stop bitcoin, but as a whole it would be impossible. Some country are interested in this new technology which they want to adopt because of faster system of transaction which blockchain can offer. Bitcoin will grow exponentially if other countries will follow.

Oh well yes! It is because people needs to secure their money that is why they are so emotional about the dumps of bitcoin. If bitcoin will become illegal well yes their are money holder who are already afraid to hold bitcoin in that situation maybe their are only few holders still hold and believe in bitcoin. And it so sad to believe that in that situation their are only 2% of holders would still believe and keep hold bitcoin.

The government's regulation of bitcoin transactions should instead consider bitcoin illegal. because if indeed the government can really mean it then the country can get more income than bitcoin subsidy.
No government will kick the development and progress chance out from their country and bitcoin is the major chance of development and economy stability and those who are using it see their economy and their development state and compare with those who are not and governments will not be jealous to their citizens if they are making clean and clear money.
Really? What do you think about the cryptocurrency world are become the speculation place than an investment market? You also know too many new investors participate in this market, of course you will think this is a good signal to help Bitcoin grow more. But the fact is not great as your thought, too many newbie synonymous there are many "investors" have not any knowledge and become speculators.
As growth of bitcoin is concerned it has crossed all the hurdles in its way and people who say that bitcoin will be banned by governments answer to them is governments are not so stupid so that they can cut their bridge that leads the way to the development and economic stability and bitcoin is all about business development and profit who will ban it no one will,

Although many countries are banned cryptocurrency, I'm sure this will not be able to stop the performance of cruptocurrency, this is because the user continues to increase and can not be stopped.

basically the government will not be able to control or power in bitcoin. bitcoin is the common digital currency is just a substitute for paper currency into digital currency only.

government can not stop bitcoin
Bitcoin is a very profitable thing not only in order to make the owners of bitcoin but can also help in making the economy of the country better. There is no point of stooping the trade of bitcoin by any government as this will only take a very good opportunity from the people of that country. In fact government should look for the ways through which they can promote the usage of bitcoin.

No government wants to ban such a valuable coin that bring profit and revenue to the region and also raises the financial condition of their citizens and bitcoin Is very beneficial because this will bring a lot of profit and governments will not kickoff such a strong an profitable coin, and those who want to harm this coin will surely suffer in future and they will pay about it.

Governments have the force to control a centralized system, but it is more difficult to control Bitcoin. It would be like cutting down the Internet as it is working currently. China and Russia are banning ICOs and exchanges, and are reluctance about bitcoin use, but plans B arise in the crypto community. Other countries like Japan try to regulate them and issue licenses to companies enabling them to operate as legal cryptocurrency exchanges as a way to develop a fintech industry.

I think the government can not stop the bitcoin because many people benefit from it rather than stop them why they do not support so that they can help the people who use it more bitcoin even better than they are just stopping they will not succeed because that's because many people do not like what they want so many people will be so slow that they just do not want to try it better then just keep silent ...

Maybe they can but only his countries do not support Bitcoin. The government only forbids the citizens to use Bitcoin and does not fully have control Bitcoin. After china banning ICOs and his local exchange the price is dropped but a few days later it's recovered it mean Government do not have fully control of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the progressing coin of this time and in near past when china bans bitcoin in his region people are asking that it will die without china but bitcoin proved that it is not confined to any region and bitcoin defeated china successful although prices fall down to 3000USD but now they are rising and recent price is 5000USD and bitcoin has achieved its milestone breaking all the hurdles in its way.
