PLEASE ONLY ACCEPT BTC
Please do not Smiley I like how you guys provide hardware for people who dont have tons of btc!

on the other hand, difficulty is soaring.  Looks like an increase of 21%.  If this continues, and you mine from the end of august for 1 year, you'll have about ... 54 bitcoins.  The price tag might just be too high.  It is only profitable when the avg difficulty increase isn't bigger then 16% (till august) and the btc/eur doesn't drop.

I also do not believe this is a scam, they seem to have the right profile & connections for the job.  I hope you guys can deliver as fast as promised, which is not entirely up to them alone.  We'll see in august Smiley

Hi,

am i right that the actual batch has no watercooling?

Greets

ImI

The actual batch has air cooling exactly like Avalon's unit, but if we are able to deliver the waterblocks before the shipping of the units (which I guess we will), you will be able to upgrade your existing order.

Scams are getting better and better...
Congratulations on this one, I almost ordered one.

I feel the same way.

Finally we talked about another visit in a couple of weeks for an updated report. I'm on holiday next week so I suggested to come back once they start manufacturing the 1st batch in the factory .... so I can take some pictures from the assembly line (if allowed) ... and/or when they get some Avalon chips early and they can make them run in their own prototype.

I would like to see a video of a running finished model.
Also i would like to buy with cash or btc and pick it up by myself. (Maybe even for a little bit higher price)
Because 5000€ isn't a chicken feed.

Cash payment at our offices and pickup when the units will be ready is already an option, you will save on shipping too this way  Grin

That's true and it's actually no news, BUT many experts believe that BTC/USD might go well over $1000 if the bitcoin market keeps growing this way. Remember that the amount of new bitcoins that will be mined is progressively decreasing but the bitcoin market itself is growing, that will inevitably lead to a bump in the exchange rate.

Can I buy just a hashing module to add to an existing Avalon?  (sorry if this has already been answered.)

Congratulations on this one, I almost ordered one.

By thy way, I just called Exion Networks SA (http://exion.ch/contatti/), mother-company of it. And I have confirmation, that this is their legitimate project.

There will be a total of 100 units available, the first 30 units will be payable through wire transfer or local cash payment, while the remaining ones will be payable only in bitcoins.

The units that had the bank wire option have already gone in something like 2 minutes and now there's only the bitcoin payment left.

Is it possible to pay in EUR? That would be much easier than in USD for the bank transfer.

Does the order get cancelled if we do not pay in 15min? Or, can we have a few days to convert fiat to BTC and then pay?

Ok we are being flooded by emails, PMs and phone calls with people wanting to pay with wire transfer due to not having bitcoins funds available at the moment.

We are now changing back the payment options to accept again wire transfers, try again in a few minutes!

Thank you for accepting wire transfers again! Should I create a new order? Or, can I use the old order for BTC that says on-hold? (I am thinking there are a lot of people in this situation)

Please contact info@bitmine.ch with your order number and request so that we can change your payment option back to wire transfer  Smiley

Don't know if I should feel lucky or raped but I preordered one. HAH Cool

Hmmm, can you elaborate on "All sales are final"? I read this exact same wording "somewhere"...
Didn't you say you'd guarantee a refund whenever a customer requests one?

And would it be possible to pay the wiretransfer in EUR?

Hi there, yes it's refundable but we had to put that sentence in order to try to avoid (or at least reduce) the speculators that buy the units only to resell them on ebay, it means that you won't be able to change shipping or billing address once the order is placed.
